Reviews on Mediterranean food in Fernando de Noronha, State of Pernambuco, Brazil. The archipelago of Fernando de Noronha is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a delicate ecosystem. Visitors are restricted, but the lucky few are rewarded with unrivaled beaches and soothing warm waters filled with dolphins and sea turtles, making Noronha one of the world’s top diving destinations. On land, hike the ecological trails of Jardim Elizabeth, the Esmerelda Coast or Sancho Bay, which culminates in a climb up a steep set of stairs carved into the split of a cliff.

The Acqua is located inside the Dolphin Hotel on the edge of BR 363. Our restaurant is one of the most traditional in Fernando de Noronha. Specialized in seafood and Mediterranean food . We serve the best fish, lobster, pasta and schrimps on the island. O

Considered the best restaurant on the island, the menu of Maravilha Restaurant is signed by chef Joca Pontes, recognized with several gastronomic awards. It offers contemporary cuisine that enhances regional ingredients, with outdoor seating and a stunnin
The Pousada Maravilha may be the best on the island but the restaurant certainly doesn't live up to it's reputation. Probably the most expensive restaurant on the island, the food is below any quality standard. We were three people and we got spoiled vegetables, old undefined fish that was overcooked, green beans (that were actually black eyed peas) that were spoiled, rotten tomatoes in our salad, cold dry overcooked tuna that was supposed to be seared and probably stood there for a long time. Never again! For good local food and friendly service, try the neighbours at Solar dos Ventos.

A lot of media... but to be frank, Noronha has much better options (Triboju and Xica da Silva ate cheaper and with much better flavor). The food is just ok. Yes, a lot of options, but nothing that you will remember. Service average and definitely too expensive for wait in a line full of people to self service. At this price you can get amazing service and amazing food in several other places..
