I had lunch at Veranda restaurant, Harvey Nichols (department store). Veranda is opposite Charlotte Tilbury - a luxury beauty brand. Veranda launched a new menu this month. The menu included a large Super food selection. I had Roasted salmon fillet served with healthy Tabbouleh salad. Veranda Tabbouleh is a healthy mixture of Super grains such as freekah, quinoa and buckwheat with kale. The mixture was served on top of a bed of Garlic mint flavored labnah. The main was sprinkled with pomegranate and Parmesan cheese. The flavor was simple and light. I had cold Carrot juice for a drink. The service was -as usual- average. Waiters at Veranda are intensely curious about their dinners in an unpleasant way by roaming around restlessly. The waiter on duty was even curiously looking through my -near by- shopping bag, while placing my juice on the table. My rating for this experience is average. SEE photos of food.

I had a Turkish lunch at Kosebasi. It is a Turkish Anatolian grill at Arabella (sea side). My waitress, Melanie was helpful and smiley. The menu was very tempting. I have read about a specialty of kosebasi. It is called, Kuzu sac tava. It is sautéed marinated lamb meat in a traditional copper plate called sac tava, with chopped garlic, tomatoes, and capsicum, served on light flames. Melted cheese was added on top for the full flavor. You could have a one person serving and a family size portion. The diced lamb was relatively soft and the capsicum was well cooked. I had Aryan with mint. Aryan is yogurt drink. My dessert was the ever favorite, meghli. It is Caraway spice rice pudding. The Rice pudding with cinnamon is garnished with shredded coconut and nuts. The dessert was beautifully aromatic with raisins. My only comment was that the walnut pieces were stale. The meghli was tasty and cool. This dessert was not too sweet and it is a healthy dessert. Melanie recommended trying the Turkish tea; the Turks prefer to drink tea in small tulip-shaped glasses with heavy base. The glass is 125 ml. SEE photos of food and exterior.

The place is ideal for a breakfast and brunches especially during the weekends. The staff are friendly and very busy. The food is good but no match to the same in Lebanon. I recommend the baked falafel it's must try taste wise and as a healthy option. Overall the place is recommended

I've heard great things about this restaurant. The interior is beautiful and the ambiance (especially in this time of the year when you can sit outside) is just amazing. Unfortunately, service was very bad because we specifically asked for 2 items which were not reflected properly when the food was served. Also, we found the grilled food was not fresh and hard.

I recently had breakfast at Solia in Phase 4 of the Avenues. Well what a great experience. The food was fantastic and the staff very friendly.I had the granola with fresh berries and greek yoghurt. It was amazing and so tasty.The coffee complimented the dish. The restaurant has a Greek chef, and there are some amazing creative dishes.The restaurant is in a great spot in the Avenues and one that you should try if you like good food and a friendly atmosphere.My thanks to Jaymee who looked after me during my visit.Well done

we had dinner over there, which was nice.The seating area was decent, and neatThe staff was friendly and helpful.Food came without much time.The appetizers were nice, except for the spinach fatayer! We had chicken liver which was brilliant, humous beiruti, mutabbal, batata harrah ( delicious ) and stuffed vine leaves. We also had lentil soup which was good as well.Main courses, we had traditional mix grill, along with arayes and shawarma.All were nice, yet the appetizers were much tastierOver all it was an excellent experience

Itâs a pity when one has to endure poor service when the food is terrific; our family lunch today at Ayam Zaman, Crowne Plaza, Farwaniya was one such unfortunate incident.The food was definitely among the best Lebanese cuisine we have had in Kuwait, the starters, the main course, the grills are near perfect. The Arayes & Riyash are mouth melting. Perfect choice for great food.The service was prompt but callous & indifferent. No napkins at the table despite having reserved in advance. The gentleman taking the order seemed to be fidgety, distracted & was not paying any attention. I visited it for dinner, by the way this restaurant used to be the best sea food restaurant in Kuwait, but reference to my last visit it's not, limited selection of main and side dish, the main course is a lobster tail and a small piece fish , didn't meet my expectations, in general it's an average taste , quality and service resturant.
