Kreta is a family owned Restaurant for over 22 years. Chef Vasilis and Host Leonidas are a father and son duo that offer a fresh authentic representation of the Greek Cuisine. We also have an extensive Greek wine and Craft beer list, Gin&tonics, cocktails
We liked the new style of getting to know the Greek cuisine better. The tapas idea is great. Personal attention and explanation of the various plates was hartwarming.

This is the kind of place you'll get a no nonsense meal. It's good food, well prepared and in line with the local surroudings: they serve a lot of game dishes. We had a great evening, with helpfull staff, and we had our desert near the fireplace. If you're in the area, worth checking this place out.

After an organised walk around the old streets of Deventer we opted to have dinner at one of the restaurants we had seen on the walk. The restaurant is located in an ancient city farm building which explains the higgledy-piggledy layout. The owner enjoys his role of host and explains the menu options with gusto. The food has Portuguese connections and was well prepared and presented.

We arrived on a damp Wednesday for lunch. Only one other table was taken. So very quiet. The waiter was great and made some of the atmosphere. Enjoyed a simple Lasagne and Omelete. Good food and good wine. Well priced. Lovely venue and old building.

We ate here early Sat evening. The restaurant has lovely decor (albeit not very traditionally Moroccan). We ate from the set menu which gave you choice of starters - mezze style then tagines and deserts. The mezze was tasty enough - 7 small bowls, one of 3 pieces of calamari, one of 3 king prawns, others were squid and deep fried mussels. (Bit like the decor, the starter wasn't terrible traditional Moroccan but tasty enough).Main was Tagine - you could choose meat, fish or veg.We had meat which had some pork and few chicken pieces on bone. I've had much tastier Tagines, it was lacking typical Tagines seasoning but we ate half of it. The desert part of the 3-course menu was very confusing. We ordered coffees and desert thinking (as it said coffee and desert on set menu) was included but it wasn't until we got the bill it was explained to us we could only have speciality coffees as part the set menu).Total bill was £95 euros which was expensive as we only had 1 drink each. Disappointed and not sure why this is Zutphen's number 1 rated restaurant. Dear reader Thank you for your refuse But first of all i have that to tell we dont have pork meat in our kitchen We are marokaan restaurant it means ninpork en no wijn in our eat .
