Absolutely the friendliest restaurant that we visited during our 3 weeks in Europe. When we arrived the owner/waitress was speaking French with a couple customers and I thought that we had mistakenly driven the wrong direction and were back in France :-) The daily special was a Fleishkase (kinda meat loaf) with an egg on top and fried potatoes. I was thrilled to find a Zigeunerschnitzel (Gypsy) schnitzel on the menu when it seem that that schnitzel was no longer being offered in Germany. It was wonderful. A side story, apparently Germany has become politically correct and the word "Gypsy" is being replaced with Paprika or Balkan Schnitzel. By any name - I loved it. Be prepared for Cash Only. No Credit Cards.

Das Ambiente von auÃen und innen ist unscheinbar, aber der freundliche Service und das äuÃerst leckere Essen bewirken trotzdem eine 5-Sterne-Bewertung!Die Räumlichkeiten sind nicht besonders modern, stylisch oder ausgefallen und lassen sich am besten beschreiben mit "altes Sportlerheim". AuÃen gibt es auch einen Terrassenbereich. Es fehlt leider ein Wickeltisch.Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, Sonderwünsche waren überhaupt kein Problem.Das Restaurant bietet überraschend leckere deutsche und italienische Küche, bei uns waren alle zufrieden (Pizza, Rumpsteak, Lamm-Karree, Salat, Fisch,...).Für ein schickes Dinner nicht ganz geeignet, aber zum gemütlichen, ungezwungenen Lecker-Essen hervorragend!

This restaurant is right on the Rheinpromenade. It has a nice garden terrace to eat and drink on a warm day. Their food and drink menu is fine, but nothing exceptional. Service was nice and friendly! Enjoyed myself as it was next to my hotel ... drinking was NOT a problem!

A small restaurant in Oestrich-Winkel that serves Italian cuisine. Everything was made from fresh. Great meals, great atmosphere and great values. The patio sitting provides intimate surrounding with large trees, candles, but most of all, the tables aren't so closed to each other so no eavesdropping of the neighbor's conversation.If I had to critic, the only think I could think of is the lack of parking space. We had to park 2 blocks away from this tiny restaurant. But all in all it was best!

Small beautiful furnished room with historical and elegant flair. We enjoyed every single dish!!! Try the carpaccio or the risotto. My husband loved the tender Simmentaler beef with the best and most creamiest mashed potatoes ever!

Dieses weniger bekannte Familienrestaurant bietet authentische griechische Küche abseits von Gyros und Tzaziki. Hier gibt Dorade, Muscheln, Juwetzi und vieles mehr. Eine Speisekarte gibt es erst gar nicht - stattdessen Tafeln an den Wänden. Alles ist frisch und daher manchmal auch nicht mehr verfügbar. Garantiert ist, dass man etwas Schmackhaftes findet. Athena kombiniert kreativ, Gewürze und Ãle sind kraftvoll und harmonisch aufeinander abgestimmt. Die gastfreundliche Familie ist mittlerweile in Hattenheim so beliebt, dass man reservieren sollte!

This used to be a pleasant restaurant offering simple and delicious German cuisine, in a rustic garden setting. It has unfortunately - as I discovered yesterday evening - been turned into an Italian eatery offering (almost entirely) Italian dishes. The rustic setting has been spoiled by laying concrete pavers and attempts to create an Italian atmosphere - as dusk descended we had trouble seeing what we were eating. It appears to be oversubscribed, as we discovered when we had a long wait to get a table. Why do Germans go for Italian cuisine when they have such a good native cuisine? We then had a long wait before we could place an order - the service was at best sluggish. The food was rather ordinary, nothing one couldn't knock up at home. A real disappointment!

Although the city seems a bit empty, when you go into this place you will know where they have been hiding. Great little Italian restaurant. I had the Salmon and it was plentiful and yummy. The dinner with wine for 4 was just over 100 Euro making this place a GREAT value.

Il Mondo has excellent service and a very friendly staff. The atmosphere is great and most importantly, the food is amazing. I had the beef tartar to start and then the Pizza Mama Mia which is spicy just as advertised. But if youâre a little bit crazy and need it to be spicier, they will be happy to take care of you.

We have been sampling the Greek food while on our travels round Germany. This was very good and we were pleased with both the service and the meals. The liver and onions was particularly good, as was the gyros. However, the salads could have been better if they had been served cold. Hence only the four stars. Hello John,thanks for your valuation.
