A basic sort of pub in a nice spot. A limited but good choice of beers and lagers, worth going for the choice of sharing platters - British, Med, Eastern European, a cheese board, a couple of others. Watched other customers tucking in and it all looked delicious. Spent a pleasurable couple of hours there.

Itâs difficult this one. Venue is lovely and was perfectly close to my hotel. Manager welcoming and order taken quickly. However hereâs the thing. I would have had wine once I finished my water and nobody asked - which is a shame. I sat the entire visit without a drink after this. In truth there was very little from front of house to compliment the experience at all. The food was STUNNING. A perfectly put together calzone, which on cutting into it I was taking photos and sending to pals. Again though nobody asked how it was and nobody asked if I wanted anything else.So I guess food 5/5Hospitality 2/5Shame because itâs close, but Foh is a bit behind the quality of the food. Which was fab.

Popped in with my husband for a bit of mezze. The service was excellent and the food just as good. Thereâs always more than you can eat and the bill was a pleasant surprise. Weâll be back again soon.

La Rustica is located on Nether Hall Road in Doncaster town centre â originally Carloâs which opened in 1979! The single story frontage is deceptive â with a split level bar & lounge entrance, where customers can relax with a drink. The downstairs dining
We recently visited Villas Romana on a work night out following a very successful year. They made us feel very welcome and are very accommodating. The downstairs restuarant has a very authentic feel, almost like a wine cellar and it's a very private section if youre the only ones in which was very nice. All the food was fantastic, I wouldnt even know where to start with recommendations, everyone around the table had high praise for their meals.

Stayed in the area to go to the races and tried Turkuaz after reading the reviews on trip advisor. Six of us ate, service was good, food was quick to arrive too. The starters were delicious, 4 thought the main course was lovely too but 2 of us were a little disappointed, I had lamb shank unfortunately it hadnât been cooked slow and long enough as it still had a layer of fat around the outer and some running through the meat, was a shame as this spoiled the dish. Would try again if in the area but opt for a different dish as the majority of us really enjoyed it.

Ok,I feel a rating of four is good enough.I know this establishment has to provide to the commercial market, and as I live it Spain I may be a little bit more critical than most reviewers. However the grade and quality was fine, the staff welcoming , and the wines great.Maybe itâs just me,but be a little more adventurous and donât stay in this conservative commercial capsule that so many businesses do.SPECULATE TO ACCUMULATE!!

Never eaten before but so glad we did, the food was fantastic!! My partner had carpaccio to start, my first try and it amazing, followed by the seafood linguine which she really enjoyed. I had one of the day specials (meat platter) which was so nice. Lamb chops, pork skewers, chicken skewers, home cooked chips and the sauce/dip that accompanied it was to die for. Restaurant looks the part and price wise I found it very reasonable and will definitely return.
