One of the few restaurants in the area open on a Sunday evening, we decided to take some overseas visitors to try some good Moroccan food. The restaurant is recently redecorated and the ambience is pleasant. The menu is quite small but just right, with a good selection of tagines, couscous and plats garnis. The main dishes are copious, so we would suggest choosing a selection of hors d'oeuvres to share OR main dishes (or sharing both). We had 2 tagines and 2 couscous all of which were excellent with the exception of the merguez which were overly fat. Presentation and service were attentive, courteous and relatively rapid.Overall, everyone in the party was pleased with the food. The only let down was the wine list - the Boulaouane gris was totally indifferent. Also, bottled as a "cuvée restauration" it was vastly overpriced for something nondescript and not typically a Boulaouane. However there are Guerroaune and other AOG wines on the list which could be worth trying.

We had a very good evening at Bab Salam. I found the restaurant on the net, 'cause I was looking for a good Arabic restaurant near our hotel. Diner was absoloutly perfect, lots on the plate, and the staff is very friendly and helpfull! I would recommend it to anyone who likes Arabic kitchen! A.D. " First experience in Moroccon cuisine." The atmosphere is magical. The decoration inside is beautiful. Easily the best authentic dinner we had near Paris. The staff was extremely nice and the food was absolutely delicious as well as creative. We had two evening meals here, one was the chicken tagine pear & honey which was perfect. The other was couscous with merguez & vegetables. The cost of the meals was very reasonable and the portions we got were very generous. They offered us the desert, we were very surprised and happy! I would definitely recommend this place!

I went to this restaurant with several members of my family for a celebratory meal and we were not disappointed. We ordered 5 couscous (with various brochettes: lamb, veal + merguez and meat balls) and 1 tagine. Everything was absolutely excellent and delicious. The restaurant has the unusual approach to serve the semolina directly in your plate but the waiters always go round the place offering a free refill so that doesn't matter. The food is well worth it.Granny found the lamb a little tough. I had the same lamb but found it, on the contrary, nice and tender. But then again granny is 90 years old and has false teeth, so what do you expect! On our next visite to Franconville, we will be sure to go back there.

My Brother-in-law invited my family along with his to this cozy Italian restaurant. Luckily he reserved in advance, because the place was packed. The food and wine was excellent. The atmosphere loud and informal with a kitschy decor that was clean and inviting. There was nice, outdoor seating, be we sat inside. It was also very nice. Nearly all servers were Italian but spoke French and English really well. Prices good, 8 big eaters got out with 350 euro tab with only 2 euros for parking. Highly recommend!

This excellent restaurant, located in the same complex as "The Angus" serves great Lebanese cuisine. I asked the very friendly owner what he would recommend, and had a most excellent meal! The quality of the cooking is equalled by the warmth and charm of the owner and staff!

I had a most enjoyable 3-course lunch at this excellent restaurant which, due to the high quality of the cooking, rapidly fills up with local business types at lunch. I had an antipasto entree, Tagliata di manzo con carciofi croccanti, rucola e parmigiano - Tranche de bÅuf aux artichauts craquants, roquette et parmesana as the plat, and an excellent Italian cheese course to finish my meal. Their menu is large and covers everything from pizza, to fish, meat, and pasta. Their deserts are equally great, and their wine list is very large with an emphasis on Italian varieties They accept USA credit cards and getting here merely requires getting to the Enghien-les-Bains RER station, taking the 15M bus the the Mairie stop and walking up the street rue Carnot to the restaurant..
