The food was good, the reservation was smooth, but in general we were very underwhelmed and are puzzled by the fantastically high rating on tripadvisor, which is why we wanted to share a review. This is a restaurant that we would have found by the dozens in London or Singapore where we used to live. The food was fresh and it was very tasty, but the menu was very limited and we could actually not find anything we liked (Vitello Tonnato as the only meat option when there are at least 2 overpriced ravioli dishes, for example; and for fish only the raw tartar...all of this is way too taste-specific and there was non dish that would suit a more general palate. The menu changes every month, and it had changed on that particular day with the menu not available on the website...we actually saw other parties sit down and ask about items on the menu and leave again, but we decided to stay). Desert was also overpriced and not that great. We had a table outside, which was on the sidewalk with many people walking by very close to us (and given it is adjacent to Langstrasse, these people were sometimes not very pleasant or asking us for money). In general, this is a very expensive option for a night out, food is good, but we were looking for an anniversary dinner/special experience, which is clearly was not.Dear chooun14Thank you so much for your review. However itâs true that our menu is limited, but it changes completely every month and this is how our concept works. We serve seasonal dishes and for August we offer a light but a thoughtful menu. The cabbie couldn't really find the place because it was not what he was really looking for, I believe. And my wife and I felt more or less the same way. But there it was; not very impressive on the outside, and the inside was only slightly better. But the service was marvelous and the food was superb. The wine list was pretty good, too, BUT -- like everything else in this wonderful old city -- EXPENSIVE. Business diner with other colleagues. Italian restaurant with italian style and italian waiters...The menù shows italian recipes, which indeed seems adapted to local tastes once the dish is on the table. The restaurant would be in the average, in taly, but here is of high quality. Prices are high, in line with the expensive switzerland. Some prices totally out of range, wine in particular. What to say, it's a recommended place if people is running dry of spaghetti...

Now everyone likes there pizzas differently however this pizza was absolutely fantastic, the crust was nice and thin and the toppings were delicious and fresh! We also had the bruschetta and tiramisu! Highly recommend this place if youâre keen for a large and quality meal!

Das Lokal ist sehr gut und angenehm eingerichtet. Service freundlich und kompetent. Mir ist sofort aufgefallen, dass das Besteck sehr hecklastig ist. Saltimbocca a la romana mit Risotto war eine Enttäuschung! Schnitzel zäh und sehnig, nicht gebraten, Sauce ohne Geschmack, lau, kein Salz und andere Gewürze. Salbei war absolut roh und nicht mitgebraten sondern nur roh unter den Schinken gelegt. Für 42.50 mit einem Mineralwasser ohne Kohlensäure, welches in einer Karaffe serviert wurde und daher wohl Hahnenwasser war, nenne ich dies Abzocke. Nie wieder!

We have been there for dinner a few times. It's a good Italian restaurant The food is typical Italian and the whole range is offered.The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, very noisy. And the prices are on the very high side. The service was okay .
