We have known Lucio and his sister Antonella for some thirteen years and in this time they have gone from a simple wooden shed to what is now a prime restaurant with great food and fabulous views. They deserve every accolade they have gained, and when you, whilst sitting in beach-wear are joined by a group of Deputies from Rome for lunch, you know this place has to be pretty special

This restaurant is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea and in a plaza with live music playing all night. The staff is excellent. The filetto con pepe verde was my favorite meal and i also highly recommend the appetizer platter. The vibe is relaxing and you can easily spend hours there enjoying drinks after your meal. If your staying in Diamanté you definitely have to spend at least one night eating at il Diverso.

stabilimento balneare con ristorante a base di pesce fresco., possibilità di pesca-turismo. Aperto dal 1 giugno al 30 settembre
We just stopped over for lunch on our way to Pizzo. Since years for summer vacation in Italy we decided first time to spend two weeks in Kalabria. Amazed by the sea, never saw such a turquoise water in Meditteranean Sea! Lido Azurro is worth even a detour. Such a friendly patron, Alessandro made our start of Kalabria vacation so wonderful! Great food and a true South-Italian hospitality.

Wonderful view and mediterranean food frame of new tastes and flavors. Everything flow in search of new recipes to try and live together.
Panta Rei add a brilliant find. The location is perfect; at the end of the town and overlooking the sea. The waiter came out and immediately offered us prosecco. The menu is solely in Italian and the staff don't speak English so we took a wild guess at what we ordered and none of us were disappointed. Lovely seafood and beautifully cooked meats and pastas. I definitely recommend.

Fisch restaurant
My husband and I ate here in June 2017. The owner chef Emilio takes utmost pride in his preparations and presentation. The seafood was exceptionally fresh and meticulously prepared. Every course was delicious down to and including the dessert. Wine was lovely and his homemade cedro liquor was marvelous. I wanted to bring some to my cousin in Cosenza so I asked whether I could purchase some. He said he didn't sell it but he came out with a lovely bottle that he gave me for her as a gift. We enjoyed the meal so much we came back the next day. This restaurant and the owner is the best Calabria offers.

We were excited to try this restaurant because of the great reviews but our experience was anything but. From the get go we were treated like outsiders made to sit inside right by the door when the restaurant had pleasant tables outside. We waited 10 minutes for menus before leaving as none of the staff paid us any attention. We decided to leave at this point and shut the door in disappointment. We were then confronted by the waiter who was followed by the chef. Instead of apologising and finding out what was the matter, we were confronted and reprimanded by them. There was no remorse or embarrassment. We hope you have a better experience if you decide to eat at this restaurant.

So glad we persevered to get to this place. It is so worth it. Just keep going on the crazy little road that seems like it couldn't be right. Don't give up. Keep going. Try the Alarico Terre Nobili vino rosso. Amazing! We were staying in Scalea but drove back here a second time and wish we could have done a half dozen more! Straight through Diamanté. We ate as much as we possibly could and every single dish was exquisite. And the setting is delightful. Make the effort. You will be glad you did.

The restaurant has stunning views over the sea as it is nestled in the hillside. The ambience can be lacking, as can the variety on the menu. However, pizzas are excellent and very reasonably priced. A good local restaurant.
