The food was wonderful. We ordered ala carte items, avocado toast and the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes with spicy potatoes. Everything was wonderful! Drinks included Irish coffee and Saint of Good morning. Both were excellent but the Irish coffee was one of the best Iâve had! Definitely recommend. Glad you enjoyed your brunch! We hope to see you in again soon! Our happy hour is 3-6 every day of the week and brunch is Tuesday-Sunday from 10 Am-3 PM.

Small Lebanese restaurant in the East Village. Interesting Decour and a great and efficient guy bartending. Ordered several dishes to go and he was super friendly.Ordered the falafel salad and it was really good. Especially appreciated the ripe tomatoes which can be a bit challenging to find this time of year. Also ordered the Shawarma over rice. The chicken was very dry and not very flavorful and there was way too much rice. Would not order that dish again.

The restaurant is unassuming on the outside, serving absolutely excellent, carefully prepared dishes inside. My partner had the chicken gyro and I had a greek salad with the chicken. We also ordered the Dolmathes and these were phenomenal. Our great waitress told me they take a little longer to prepare than the meal. There is a light lemon sauce that is amazing. Lastly we had a small sliver of Baklava at the end of the meal. Excellent. Highly recommend a visit when you are in downtown Des Moines. We plan to stop in on our next trip.
