Needing a break from the kids my wife asked for dinner out. I used TripAdvisor, open table, & yelp to locate what I thought could be a quite spot with excellent food that wasnât needlessly overpriced. When we arrived at Josephâs we were immediately greeted and they had our table waiting by the window with a small candle. The hostess was the ownerâs daughter and the waiter his son. We ordered a med appetizer and to our delight found everything to be fresh and home made. Mom was cooking in the kitchen and it seemed we were eating family recipes. We enjoyed the Greek salad that was loaded with freshness and finished with the walnut crusted salmon. Simply delightful people and food cheers!

We had the "Balloon"--house-baked pita, hummus, eggplant caponata, pistachio yogurt, tzatziki, cold-pressed olive oil and aged balsamic--that was good, Carmelized Onion soup--was way to sweet to eat, lobster that I needed a steak knife to cut it and Tuna tartare that was good. We would not go back. Iced Tea was good.Hello Susan, we are very sorry to hear you did not have the stellar experience we aim for. This was a collective Birthday weekend of classmates and wives (28) a high school in Philadelphia. Been over 55 years ago we graduated. Adel, managing partner, worked us to create a delicious menu. Cocktails and nibbles of pizza, veggies w/homemade baba ganouje, homemade grape leaves and multiple choices for dinner and champagne and baklava for dessert. Food was great as was the service!

We've been to this restaurant multiple times, with a large family group, with friends, etc. they were busy but not full and seemed to be doing an active take-out business Our waitress did not have a friendly attitude, we waited 40 minutes for our meals, the food was good.
