Things to do in Danville
This restaurant just moved into the Crossroads Center (Radio Shack, Leslie's). I am guessing it is owned by the same people who own Sultan's Kebab off Bernal in Pleasanton. This is a casual place that serves middle eastern food. The kebobs and shawarma are quite good. The staff is very friendly. There are tables for outdoor dining. It looks like they have a large 'take away' business as we saw many people coming in and leaving with food. As mentioned it is very casual and there is no wine or beer. The food was very tasty and not expensive. The most expensive item on the menu is under $15.00. You get a lot of food with your order. Definitely a nice addition to the restaurant scene.

This is a very small Mediterranean restaurant that just opened in the Danville Livery Center. There are a few tables inside and a small outside patio. We ordered chicken kabobs and the beef koobideh. We thought the koobideh a little dry but good. The chicken was the better choice. Included was your choice of rice and a very small side salad on the dinner plate. Dinner for the two of us was $27.00, without drinks. I don't believe there is beer or wine available. You get a fair amount of food. Service was good and very friendly. Unfortunately there were some pesky bees that interfered with the meal. I remember that from the previous restaurant in the same spot.

This is a popular place, especially on weekends. Inside can be quite loud.We waited for 20+ minutes because we requested an outside table.Wait staff was polite and apologized for the wait.Breakfast was tasty. I normally don't care for pancakes, but theses were light and tasty. I'd like to try them again, but the long lines are a bit off putting. I'm glad they are busy and hope that things even out over time. I look forward to going when things settle down.

The menu is big with items from Italy, Greece, Iran and surroundings. The complimentary huge naans with dip and complimentary hot tea are very welcoming. We shared falafels, lamb, chicken and koobideh kabobs and grilled vegetables. The lamb was dry but the rest were excellent. We finished by sharing a couple of delicious baklavaâs. Service was polite and pleasant but could have been more attentive.

Faz Danville offers celebrated Mediterranean cuisine including dishes such as our fragrant pizzas & fresh flat bread prepared in our wood-burning oven! An inviting patio in a redwood grove is at the heart of this restaurant. Floor to ceiling glass in the
From the warm flatbread with accompanying dipping sauce to the freshly made food with great ingredients, there is a lot of choice even if the menu is limited. Our table chose, the Sicilian pot roast which was extremely tender and well seasoned, accompanied by rapinis cooked to perfection and garlic mashed potato, the Marco Polo fettuccine loaded with shrimps and spinach. I had the pizza oven baked pear and parma ham pizza which came on delicious flatbread and had a very delicate home made fresh pesto sauce which was not overpowering. The raspberry sorbet was delicious as a dessert.

Sunday night dinner at a completely packed Restaurant in Danville was delightful. We had 7:30 reservations, but arrived at 7 and they were able to seat us at a table almost immediately. The service was excellent â drink and appetizer order taken and filled quickly. The meal was not rushed, set at our pace, with attentive staff. Our main dishes of lobster ravioli with prawns and another ravioli dish of ricotta, spinach and sage butter were delicious, well-seasoned with sauces that were light, creamy and flavorful. We had a gift of a free dessert, which was made for usâ¦. decadent fresh-made doughnut bites drizzled with melted chocolate sauce. It was warm, and not overly sweet. As we sipped our coffee, the owner came by with a tray of small glasses of limoncello, a perfect end to a meal that felt authentic, directly from Naples, Italy.
