The two brothers who run this great brasserie are very friendly and warmly welcomed us. An authentic Provençal brasserie where quality is the master word . Service is great and food is exceptional quality. I highly recommend the âLoupâ fish, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for this great experience !

We have had lunch here on two occasions - the first was a casual drop in which we enjoyed so much we made a point of returning. On both occasions it was very hot so it was good to be cooled by the water vapour installation. Service very friendly and efficient and the food arrived quickly. The pizzas are just great and all other dishes we tried were very good. We will no doubt return

As in most tourist towns and villages in the Vaucluse when lunchtime arrives cafes suddenly change to restaurants. If you don't want lunch - get lost attitude. Le Comptoir is different - just a beer @ 1300? No problem.Tourist stroll, the waiters stroll, all is relaxed, but don't get me wrong, the service is fine, and unusually for the south of France, the staff are friendly.A place to remember.

You walk downstairs into an authentically beautiful but modern 'cave'. It is simple and beautifully decorated with nice jazz music playing in the background. Wonderful date spot or nice family outing, but on the quieter side so I wouldn't recommend for small, loud children. We went in December so the outdoor terrace was closed, but looked lovely!

Only steps from the Chateau de Lourmarin and in the village center,Numéro 9 welcomes you into its ancient stone building dating from the 18th century. Come and enjoy our « bistronomique « cuisine, enriched with local produce and seasoned by the Chef. Relax
What a lovely place. Visited with Mrs Smith and two daughters and boyfriends for dinner. Friendly and attentive staff delivered conspicuously good service and the food was delicious. We sat outside on a warm evening and had a lovely time. Bill was just under £500 for 6 people having 3 courses a la carte, 3 nice bottles of wine and kir royals to start. Highly recommend.

We visited years ago when the business was called the "Restaurant du Lac". The lake remains and "Le Loup Bleu" has a beautiful view out over it towards the Grand Luberon mountains: a fact you do not appreciate as you drive past the unprepossessing exterior. The current owners started their new venture last July. He is a retired French diplomat who served in the Seychelles and his wife, the chef, is Seychelloise. As well as formal training in France, she got three years experience at the Michelin starred restaurant "La Closerie" in nearby Ansouis. The cooking is French with some interesting flavour combinations from the chef''s Indian Ocean homeland. My wife and I really enjoyed our food and look forward to going back next year. The value for money is exceptionally good and "Le Loup Bleu" deserves to be much better known.Good luck!

Monday we stopped at Ansouis, and saw the "Grain de Sel" sign. We called, and yes they could accommodate us for lunch. It was a great experience. Very quiet setting overlooking the glorious landscape. We ordered the "formule". The tapas assortment was a delicious choice for this hot weather. Fine desert and coffee, all included. Very friendly service.Great place, would certainly go back when in this region.

This is a charming restaurant with lovely young owners and great service The interior could be improved but it's still a good experience.Their cuisine is innovative, fresh, seasonal and tasty. It's great value and the daily menu included a great fish dish and lovely appetizer dish. The village itself is picturesque and situated in a beautiful part of Provence. Take the walk from Cucuron and walk alongside wildflowers, olive fields and Provencal fields. As it's very small you need to book this restaurant.

Thanks to Trip Advisor, we chose this little restaurant for lunch after visiting nearby Vaugines, a delightful wee village. A very friendly welcome from Mathieu and a pleasant atmophere, not too noisy despite being nearly full. Jolly decor. A choice of daily specials or the regular menu, so we ate off the blackboard and were more than delighted. The food was properly cooked, but also beautifully presented, really whetting the appetite. Probably the best meal of our holiday (we have one more to go). We would go again in a flash.
