Probably the most authentic place we visited on our trip and well worth it. Fantastic homecooked food, I particularly recommend any of the pasta and desserts! The staff were very friendly, the service great and the chef even makes an appearance. Would definitely recommend

Restaurant with large terrace and view breathtaking. mozza Typical cuisine of the area ... and beyond. Specialities: Fiorentina from Cook on the table on the stone. Pasta and desserts all homemade. Authenticity, simplicity and kindness in a simple yet ref
Nice set menu for a group of friends, good value, large quantities for traditional dishes of average quality. Pity for the mouldy cake that was served at the end of lunch. Although the owners seemed sincerely sorry, definitely something that should not have happened.

A gorgeous spot on the lake. Beautiful view. The food however was on our table in 5min, and just not that great. Especially the pasta was a bit blend.Made it all feel very touristy.

Beautiful location, good service, sensible prices, great value and - most importantly - excellent food! We both had pastas (gnocchi and ravioli), which we loved. You could tell they were handmade with care. You must also make room for dessert; the chocolate soufflé and chocolate/zucchini cake were delicious! Highly recommended restaurant.

My friend Roberta told me: just order one dish... it's plenty! well, how can you? this is paradise, food heaven, absolute bliss. when you are starved in Australia, this is what you dream about. I had polenta with lardo, followed by ravioli al brasato and then followed by more polenta and wild boar... my partner had every possible vegetariann dish on the menu. to say that this experience will stay with us forever is not enough to do justice to this marvellous restaurant. it's a treasure and I hope it will not change forever. we look forward to the next time and for the time being, we just have to keep dreaming looking at the photos we have taken. Good family restaurant with good service. Pizzas are huge and would recommend for 2 with a side salad. Pasta dishes nice, in particular seafood one. We shared a meat platter to start and there was enough for 2 or 3 people.

We loved stumbling across this restaurant. The staff were so accommodating (we arrived after the official lunchtime serving hour and they adapted the menu to suit us as vegetarians). They clearly take great pride in their food and explained each dish and itâs origins. Weâd definitely go back.

Veranda is many things, it's a lounge bar, a restaurant, a funny place on the beach and an home made ice-cream parlour. Ideal for business lunch, romantic dinner or just for a drink after dinner!
Came for lunch and enjoyed the great location right next to lake and decent food and good service. Dinner was a little less special as same menu no specials, tepid monk fish lacking the va va vroom its outside premises appears to promise. Casual dress, next door to camping site. Would revisit for lunch and maybe give second chance try, maybe more local pizza and pasta, overall it's nice location and ok service just not as special food wise as it looks. Apparently great drinks terrace on roof, so maybe a bit more a couples and young persons place.

Me and my boyfriend have been in the restaurant and the food is great! The Chef is really nice and funny. He made some jokes with me and then he invited us to drink some of his self made Limoncello. It was a really pleasant stay. Thank you so much! I hope I will see you again for some more jokes and more of your awesome pizza!!

For over 20 years the Castelnovo Family ensures an unique food experience on Lake Como through its passion and competence.
Nothing can beet this site, right at the lakefront. Tucked away from the busy street. The Pizza is yummy and we loved their mixed fried fish - both from the lake and from the sea. The staff ist friendly and takes the order in Italian, English or German. The kids menu was our daughters favorite.Thank you for your gentle review. See you
