Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Costa Blanca. Costa Blanca is the name given to Alicante's coastline in Spain, which stretches over 200 kilometers. It is an incredibly popular holiday destination for tourists, because of the marvelous weather and beaches. Costa Blanca is family friendly, thanks to the huge range of activities available there from beaches and golf to museums and parks. There are the beaches, such as Los Náufragos in Torrevieja with its volleyball nets, golden sands and Blue Flag status, or smaller beaches like Serragrosa with its crystal waters, ideal for swimmers. But there are also golf courses (particularly the Villaitana club de golf near Benidorm) and watersports facilities and cultural sites like museums and galleries, such as the La Asegurada Municipal Museum in Alicante which has extensive collections of Spanish art. You will need a couple of weeks on the Costa Blanca just to scratch the surface of its entertainment potential.

Bistro Chapi, very cosi atnosfhere inside and a beautiful terras outside, specialised in small Spanish dishes with a northern Spanish cuisine. Several tapas such as octopus, garlic prawns, scallops, foie...and as plate also our best entrecot and sirloin..
Great new restaurant, loved our visit and hope to go back. Delicious seafood, particularly the octopus, some of the best weâve ever had! Lots of interesting things to try on the menu, and very knowledgeable staff who were able to recommend dishes (which were all fantastic!!)Thank you so much, hope to see you soon , xx

Called in here for a drink after walking from Levante beach - was very impressed by hospitality and cleanliness. Returned 2 days later for lunchtime meal and intend to go back before our week is over - have seen they are shut Tuesdays.

Cozy place to enjoy with friends, family, and for businessmen. Decorated with recycled elements, with a rustic and modern touch. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, tapas and traditional food.
Read the reviews and thought we would go. Must say we had a really good meal for a set menu at 14 euros. The waiter explained the dishâs in great details which made a choice easy. The food and the service was good. We are returning in January and we will come back here the paella. Please go because this family run restaurant needs to continue to supply simple and quality food at a good price.

After reading the positive reviews we decided to visit Palmen, our first visit. Reserved a table for 6pm and although when we arrived the restaurant was empty it soon filled upThe welcome and service from Anil and Mina was very good with Anil explaining the special a la carte dishes. They also had a good Menu del Dia at â¬14.95 although we decided on specials and choice from the a la carte. The quality and portion size of the food were excellent. We will certainly be visiting Palmen again and would recommend reserving a table as itâs very popular

Very enjoyable Saturday lunch with family. Personal service with the chef (owner) and charming waitress explaining what was on offer. As a bread enthusiast the servicio pan, being chunky bread with alioli and tomato was lovely. The following tomate con salazones (dried salty tuna) unusual and enjoyable. As for my "sandwich of pork" (bocata de magro con tomato), this stew was exquisitely cooked. Personally I would have preferred a few green beans or some cous cous or arroz with it rather than more bread. Others had fish dishes which were not to my taste. We opted for sharing the surprise dessert (Corte Alicantino) whereupon the chef brought a plate of ice cream on a brioche type bun and promptly set alight to the top half! Quite a performance. The restaurant is in a basement down a flight of stairs. The walls are adorned with customer comments - you are invited to add your own. A fun meal which takes time as a small staff and tiny kitchen. So do choose a day when you are at your leisure and can enjoy a slow paced meal. Thanks somuch for your comment. We celebrate you enjoyed the Sotaterra experience. And we appreciate very much your suggestions.Just apologize again for the delay in the service, which is not usual at Sotaterra. As metioned our oven broke in the precise moment of serve you, so I had to "improvise" another technique to cook your dishes.Hope to see you soon.

All the meals were well cooked and seasoned fine but just lacking anything to make them memorable. Service was good and the dining room well appointed. We just expected the standard to be higher. Wouldnât bother returning.

Nice little restaurant situated in the old town of Alicante whit home made kitchen. Mediterranean, mexican and greek kitchen.
I'm going to keep this short, because there is a plethora of glowing reviews about this amazing five table restaurant. That it compares with or exceeds the culinary experiences we've had at many famous destination dining spots is simply stunning when you consider that it's entire staff consists of the husband and wife team of Olivia and Fernando. The dining experience was exceptional, every dish was memorable. This restaurant is for those who adore great food. Just two tips. Make reservations and order their foie gras -- it will take you to gastronomic heaven.

Homemade Italian Food with Modern Twist
We discovered this place on our last night in Benidorm - if only we'd discovered it earlier. An authentic Italian experience rather than the mass produced fare in most of Benidorm's other Italian restaurants. The tomato and burrata salad was more than enough for two to share. The carbonara was light and tasty. Desserts were nice -tiramisu and cheesecake and service was attentive and friendly. Why look further for a great place to eat?

We found Nazar restaurant by accident and were very happy it was halal. We had a great portion of food for very reasonable prices, around 6 euros for a huge doner kebab, chips and a drink. Great food and friendly little restaurant.
