Restaurant in Comporta village with some interesting dishes like clams "ameijoa bulhao pato" and shrimp rice. But nothing outstanding as you can find in other restaurants in the area. If you decide to go there look carefully because it looks like a regular "café". A place to go from time to time.

Just had lunch at o Rola. The restaurant is very simple, if you are looking for sophistication, this is not your place... the food is good (the Sea food). We had a grilled dourada (delicious) choco frito (good) saladinha de choco (wonderful) and something to drink that until know I didin't know... vinho a pressão... it is white sparking wine.. very tasty, refreshing and delicious surprise... the liter costs only 6 euros and worh to try... we also saw feijoada de búzios but didin't try (next time Will try for sure... the young waiter was rude, the senior waiter was nice..Good desserts . We had a good family time there.

I stress that the poor review is in spite of the lovely service from the black gentleman who served who was charming. We were given a lovely table for 6 as it was a windy night and it was sheltered from the wind. We appreciated that.As with all restaurants in Portugal there is a cover charge with bread and here the bread was 2.50⬠per person and 1.50 ⬠for butter.I ordered scrambled eggs with smoked sausage and my wife had green Pelamas peppers which arrived covered in salt. My main course was rib steak with fried egg (yes really) and garlic, The garlic absolutely did not match the steak and it was a well cooked but very poor dish. My wife had fillet of fish with tomato rice. The batter (which we had not expected) was soft and we don't think it was made in house. It may have been frozen but it was certainly poor.the bottle of wine we initially ordered was not is stock and the waiter bought several other bottles for us to chose. We had a bottle of Asti (not our favourite wine but fun). It turned out to be 30⬠which is absolutely ridiculous. Far too expensive. Good table, good service but very poor food and VETY expensive for the quality at 118 ⬠for 2.

fresh and tasty on the main street... not too expensive considering Comporta is becoming a little bit posh and some try to push a little bit the envelop...Casual and nice for this simple fish restaurant where grilled fishes, fried squid and octopus salads are a delight!

The Comporta Café opened its doors in October 2002. It is deployed in an area of sandy beach Floodgate, Troia Peninsula, which has as its main objective to serve you well. Lets have lunch or dinner on the seafront, in a pleasant environment where reigns g
We had an amazing meal here. First, the setting is stunning. Comporta beach is absolutely beautiful and worth a trip in itself. And then the restaurant is even better. We have super high standards with food and loved every minute of our meal. Plus our Romanian waiter taught us a lot about what we were eating as well. Can't wait to go back again!! Miss it already!! Only suggestion would be to make merchandise to sell!

In the heart of Comporta, an old local stable house gave place to a restaurant, modern and out of the ordinary, where the key word is sharing, flavors, cocktails and good laughs, typical of a memorable summer day.
Thank you to everyone in the restaurant for accommodating us 5 today. Fabio you are an amazing host. The food and the wine pairing that you recommend just made our dinner extra special. Thank you for looking after us today. Please also thank the chef for the amazing food as every dish was amazing. We hope to visit you again and gain everytime we pass by here. Thank you for an amazing evening.

If you happen to be near Comporta, stop here for a meal. Seafood is super fresh, many choices (incl about 8 different Cataplanas), extremely generous portions, and extensive appetizer choice. Suggest passing n the appetizer board first offered at the table (you pay for them) and also share your entree as doing otherwise puts too much food on your table and drives up the price considerably. Choose one of the various grilled seafood brochettes to share as they are truly delicious. Charming and immaculate place to eat with very friendly service. English spoken.
