Found this place on google map with good ratings, very closed to the main plaza in Barranco. We arrived about 1215pm to the restaurant, door was closed. It was our first day in Lima, did not know that restaurants won't open for lunch til noon. They were having a meeting and told use to come back in a few mins. They opened at 1230pm. 1 waitress spoke broken English, we do not speak Spanish. There is English on the menu, food was tasty and fresh. Friendly service, does have wifi.

The Restaurant or El Comedor in Spanish, reminds the bohemian cafes of Lima. It offers an excellent traditional Peruvian cuisine, seafood and Mediterranean flavors, made of local and fresh ingredients. The bar offers a large variety of South American wine
This is a very trendy bar and restaurant, exquisitely decorated with contemporary art by Peruvian artists. The atmosphere has energy and refinement. Drinks are very good but not fantastic, their barman needs to try harder to be at top world level as the rest of the place is. The restaurant is small but the food is extraordinary. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our dining experience at Rafael. Cocktails were made with care and creative spin on classics. Starters and mains were unique and well portioned. Staff were experienced and attentive. Pace wasnât rushed. Room was lively and beautifully decorated. Canât say enough positive about this place! Donât miss this place on any stop in Lima! Well done Rafael!
