I'm Italian and I travel a lot for business.This is one of the best pizza that I've ever eat in my life. My father in law is also a very good pizza maker... I have good points of reference...Not the same for the desserts: too heavy and big, not very tasty and at the end are not at same level of pizza.Service is ok, many young waiters. They don't have a lot of experience but I see them focus on customers.The place is fine, well dressed. There is just too much noise and temperature was too high. Is winter and have more than 22° C is too much. Probably some additional soundproof panel will reduce also the noise.I was tempted to put 3, but for the moment is 4 and is because I see them ready to learn and improve...They ask feedback also at restaurant. I think is a good approach in order to pursue the best for customers.At the end: improve desserts, fix the noise, cool down the heater and you'll be perfect!

I'm Italian so I'm in love with food and wine. This place is fantastic but is absolutely badly managed. The crew is not efficient, people run all over the place without clear missions. The service is extremely slow and food sometime arrive even cold. 10 people the first plate arrived 40 minutes before the last... People were ready for dessert when other were still waiting to get something to eat. Food really average, not terrible but for sure not amazing.I normally avoid to put just 1 star but the restaurant was half empty and there were many people serving but none of them looks very professional.Very bad experience, we reached the coffee over 2 hours from the start of the dinner.... I ragazzi non fanno nulla a caso e nessuno vaga senza sapere cosa fare. I piatti di pasta li avete pagati 5,00 ⬠lâuno (15,00 ⬠totali), e vi ho fatto anche un ulteriore sconto alla cassa. Il pane degli hamburger viene fatto fresco da noi tutti i giorni, non è assolutamente congelato. Se i piatti sono rimasti a tavola è perché, probabilmente, câerano persone che stavano ancora mangiando. La cucina è a vista proprio per fare vedere che i nostri piatti sono preparati espresso senza âtrucchiâ: âla flemma del cuocoâ: non capisco che tipo di indicazione possa dare sulla qualità del prodotto che esce dalla cucina e non ha nulla a che vedere con i tempi di preparazione. Dispiace ricevere certi commenti, sappiamo che al vostro tavolo non è andato tutto per il verso giusto, e ribadisco le mie scuse, ma per favore non esageriamo. Grazie comunque, ogni critica è ben accetta, cerchiamo sempre di migliorare su tutti gli aspetti del lavoro.

Un piccolo angolo di Puglia nel centro di Chieri. Questo intimo ristorantino propone poche ricette ma molto ben fatte sia di mare che di terra della tradizione pugliese. Gli ingredienti sono di ottima qualità (cucinano con l'olio buono, e si sente!). Ottimo anche il vino. Sono ragazzi che cucinano con passione e la trasmettono ai loro piatti. Straconsiglio i calamari ripieni, cucinati secondo una ricetta tramandata da generazioni. Sono perfetti!

We went to San Domenico for a special occasion on an important family birthday. Chef Angelo is a great interpreter of Italian cuisine mixing tradition & perfection with art. I recommend it for special events. Surely great for a romantic dinner too...the cellar is to dream of...definitely worth a visit!

EXPENSIVE.....Although it was the best fried pizza I have eaten,( Calzone Fritto ).....all other food ordered was nice too, but 12 euros for a focaccia with crudo and burratina was expensive.Also 11 Euros for a plate of penne with tomato and mozzarella sauce was way too expensive.No charge for the "cover" but with the restaurant prices they are more than covered for not adding that fee onto the bill. The first time also that I have ever had to wait 15minutes for a cashier to arrive and pay the bill.

Short menu around 5-6 starters, 5-6 pasta, 5-6 main course. I travel a lot for business reasons and I use to go to many different restaurants (type of food and countries).This one is a hidden gem as location. Is an original old building of this area and the view is unforgettable. Even inside the atmosphere of the restaurant is really warm and well decorated. The service is impressive... Just perfect. Also all dishes looks beautiful and well prepared. Wine list full of good wines, some famous, other proposals les usual that I know as very good. Now. All this need to make my experience fantastic, but it was not. I like try new things and be surprised by raw material elaborated and cooking experiments, but in this case everything is like this. I see this as a clear choice of style, but I see this not as a natural attitudes but as a need to be something different from other restaurants. At the end this was too pushed ahead for me compared with a location fantastic but that is not a modern art gallery. Menu is most of the time not understandable: creativity of the names is good but don't need to be pushed at that level, but is just one advise following my opinion.Black Cod is perfect, except the quinoa chips: at this time was not well prepared and tasted a bit burned. Not too much, but ruined the balance of the dish. The other was a vegan starter... Well cooked but nothing special.Liquid Ravioli is an interesting dish but the feeling at the end is that is not complete. The different raw material are not combined with a common taste. Probably has to be much creamy and need cream need to be more tasty to keep all things together.Green rice has been a fantastic experience: this is a perfect dish in terms of combination of flavors and taste... as also the others need to be.Tarte Tatin is really an interesting dessert but to get the perfect balance need to have more ice cream in order to recall better the hot-cold experience famous of the original receipt. At the end this place can be a 5 stars restaurant... but is not a Pizzeria and menu is not huge so they have to review something to improve.This time I was not fully satisfied but I'll came back. I'm sure they will catch the opportunity to thinks about specific experience and review. Is not a matter of personal ideas but is all about customers experiences...Dear guest,of course personal tastes are not questionable and my personal experience brought me to try several types of cuisine too but Italy has the chance to have such a great Kitchen proposal! What I absolutely want to offer to Cascina Lautier is an Italian cuisine "revisited and original" without excesses and without losing real flavors.Too much creams and condiments can irredeemably ruin plates. I was invited by a business associate and fried to Fra Fiush. The place is designed like a home with wonderful pictures on the wals, pastel colors painted, and very pleasant seating tables (not too crowded).The waiters were exceptionaly knowledgable, up to date with the chef's specials, and recommended a great local wine.The dishes are mainly local specials, some of which I had never had before, but all were wonderfull, tasty, rich, and pletfiful.Way to go Fra Fiush (he's dead for 300 years..but I dont know the owner's name).After a bottle was empties - life became even more wonderfull.Thank you!Eli
