La familia que lo regenta son muy amables y muy atentos con los niños. Buena relación calidad-precio. Nos lo recomendaron desde el hotel y fue un acierto.
I would recommend to visit this place to people who love to discover authentic cuisine traditions. All we've tried here was absolutely fantastic cooked. The owner was super friendly and told us a lot of his hometown and surroundings. Take "garró" and "callos" - it's a must!

Ate here today, the aubergine farci starter was so large, and good, that could not manage main course. Had a small tapa of freshly grilled pork. All very good and tasty. Best Rioja good too.
La comida correcta. La atencion muy buena. el servicio es simpatico, atento pero sin pasarse, y muy agradable. Fuimos por casualidad y no nos importarÃa repetir. En general un bien-notable.

If you speak English you may have difficulty ordering, as the menu is only in Spanish or Catalan, and our waiter could say.. "fish", "bread", and "pork" and that was about it. Didn't seem to matter however! We got an incredible full meal with bread, appetizer, starter, main and dessert with wine or beer for 16 euro! Bread and the chicken croquettes were OK, but the starter and meal were amazing! We had the cannelloni and the bread with salmon (almost like a Panini actually) that came with a very nice salad -- both were delicious! For the main we had the duck and the pork, which were also very good. The dessert was just OK, had the cake, but by that time we were so full it didn't really matter! The place itself was clean and very nice, and the waiter was great. Would definitely recommend!

A typical old-fashioned Spanish restaurant where we had a great evening. The staff were great in spite of our difficulties with the local menu. We had a great sample of the Catalan cuisine in a simple nostalgic setting.

An extremely atmospheric restaurant that is part of a small boutique hotel. It is listed in the Michelin Guide 2014 and yet the three-course menu of the day at lunch time costs just â¬13 including bread, water and wine (the house red was very nice indeed so no need to "upgrade"). The choice was limited to three or four options per course but the food itself was excellent, all home-made and freshly prepared. A very good option for budget-conscious gourmets! In the evening the menu is a la carte so a bit more expensive but the standard of cooking would certainly justify the extra investment.

Took the offer with Amigo de Paradores in which you pay less for half board. In fact, the choices in the restaurant are great, with fixed menu per person and two different types. Good atmosphere. We dressed up and the rest of the people were dressing normal, but we donât care because the occassion was worth it and that was a special place.

Cal Borrasca, is a cozy restaurant located in the old town of Cardona. In a place with beautiful tiles early 1700 will provide updated Catalan cuisine market. In our kitchen we give preference to local products and cook over time and respect they deserve.
Lovely decor, tastefully combining vintage wall tiles & traditional bundle cloth with modern furniture - a reflection of their very up-to-date yet unmistakeably Catalan cuisine. The service was very attentive, they sem happy at work and that translated into a nice athmosphere. You can dine a la carte or take their 25 Euro menu, as we did, which includes still water. For starters I had a "Mar i Muntanya": octopus, tender and tasty, over mashed potatoes with a touch of white "butifarra". After that I took the Angus rib cooked at low temperature which was super tender and tasty, and icecream for dessert as I was full already. Only thing I'd change is that they don't offer wine by the glass. The one we ordered, though , was so good we had no problem finishing the bottle.

This offers good home style cooking from Cataloniaâ stews. The stewed escargots were delicious and unusual. The restaurant is cozy with gorgeous aubergine walls and table tops. The service was so friendly. And look at the myriad of vermouths on offer. They are quietly displayed on the front bar counter.
