We had a lovely meal here recently and would definitely recommend this restaurant.We loved the mixed carpaccio starter which was huge and definitely for sharing! It was made with fresh octopus, swordfish, tuna, prawns and more.We had the tiramisu for dessert which is equally as delicious!For the shared starter, two mains, two desserts and 750ml of wine we paid no more than 60 Euros and it was worth every penny.The service of the head waiter/manager also deserves a mention because he was excellent - Very helpful, polite and friendly.

We cannot fault this lovely restaurant. We were staying at Camping Ultima Spiaggia.. left our teenagers eating in their restuarant and we booked here!! For 25 euros you get a delicious varied authentic meal with un-limited red or white house wine and water. The view over the farmland is very lovely too. I really don't think you will be disappointed. Booking is essential. We turned up on Sunday to book but couldn't get a table until the Tuesday. .Thank you Agriturismo Chiai xxx

Nice ambience, friendly attentive host. Very tasteful food. We had the mix of seafood and the beef with cannonau (reginal wine) sauce and pecorino cheese.As dessert the cheese board and a chocolate soufflé, which was extremely scrumptious.Very relaxed evening. I fully recommend going for a meal here.(Fyi they don't serve pizzas)

Il Piede di Porko is a lovely cozy place located in the centre of Bari Sardo. They serve tradiotional and innovative food of high quality. The location is divided in three different floors including the roof terrace with a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and professional. You should try it as soon as you can! I really reccomend it!

I have been in this restaurant a couple of years ago and I thought the restaurant was one of the best I have ever eaten. Food was heaven here. This year I returned in Cardedu and I was looking forward to eat here. The first disappointment was the change of the menu but then I thought that if the chef was the same, maybe the food was still amazing although it wasn't as appealing as before. Nothing that I thought!! The food was so poor and so low quality that I was embarrassed for them. The seafood was clearly frozen and badly cooked, impossible to taste it because completely covered of onion. Even the potatos mixed with the octopus were raw... let's skip talking about the octopus. Horrible. Portions really small. So bad that we decided to don't get the desert and go to another place to have it! On top of it, it is extremely expensive. Eâ fuori dalla mia indole rispondere in maniera scortese, ma la vera VERGOGNA la deve provar lei nel scrivere recensioni del genere da cui si deduce nessun rispetto per chi lavora dalla mattina alla sera.SI VERGOGNI LEI perchè dopo aver mangiato ha chiacchierato amabilmente con la responsabile di sala per una buona mezz'ora senza criticare o lamentarsi di niente della cena, anzi sostenendo che andava tutto bene.SI VERGOGNI LEI perchè al momento di lasciar l'albergo ha colloquiato anche con l'addetto del ricevimento chiedendo informazioni sul ristorante e non riferendo niente di negativo sulla cena della sera precedente.SI VERGOGNI LEI perchè prima di fare certe affermazioni dovrebbe almeno verificarle:- il pesce è fresco, niente di surgelato- i prezzi sono più bassi del 10% rispetto alle passate stagioni- le porzioni sono più che abbondanti e può venire a controllarne il peso quando vuole.Noi faremo tesoro si queste critiche cercheremo sempre di migliorare, ma lei scelga pure altri ristoranti.

A must restaurant if you are in the area. The name S'Olia refers to the hotel, the restaurant has another name. A splendid place to have a good dinner! Located at the riverbed of Fiume Pelau (dry already early July) in a remote location 5 minutes driving from Cardedu - not a place you. accidentally find. Dinner is served on a large terasse with a spectacular view on the mountain ranges and sunset (if you come early enough). Service is very attentive and friendly, waiters speak Italian and do a quite good job in English. The food is absolutely fantastic - Sardinia style, come hungry and eat through a traditional Italian meal with antipasto, primo and secondo - and if you can try the half frozen with Myrto - a treat as everything here. Sometimes on Fridays there is Sardinian night with music (too loud for my taste) and very traditional food including suckling pig.

Out of season visit. We're given a Italian /German menu, while being a English /Dutch couple. Had a nice pizza Romana, could have done with some garlic. Husband had mixed grill (meat) which was salted, when that could have done without and left to do oneself. Overall okay atmosphere. No chicken dishes what so ever though.

This is by far the best dinner weâve had for over a week in Sardinia. We found the restaurants in Sardinia overall always good and excellent value for money, but this restaurant stands out. The chef takes the typical sardinian ingredients and takes them to the next level. Everything we had was delicious and very reasonable priced. In fact, we found the prices very similar to the prices of other restaurants, but for a much higher quality of food. Excellent price/value. Moreover, the view from the terrace was beautiful and the wife of the chef who served us was incredibly friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.It is always so great to get that kind of feedback from our guests! Our main goal is everything what you have just wrote! Thank you! When in Sardegna make sure to visit this place nere the sea and book a table with the sea view! Waching sunset from here is pretty amazing. The food was cooked to perfection and the potatoes were out of this world! The hostess also made sure that everything was to our likings and she also appologised for the slow service as she was alone on the day. Highly recommended!Gentile Deborah , ho fatto tutto il possibile.... grazie dei bei complimenti. Arrivederci !!!!
