Located in the heart of Bracciano from 1921, began as as a tavern has become over time a restaurant known and appreciated. Since the beginning of 2016, the restaurant is run by chef Rafal Kasprzyk who, inspired by the mediterranean cuisine, proposes expre
We had an excellent lunch here together with friends following a visit to the Castello Odescalchi Di Bracciano. The staff were polite and welcoming and the service excellent. We were served with a welcoming glass of prosecco and an amuse buche. Simply cannot fault them. The food was first class and beautifully presented. They were able to offer gluten free options and were quick to point out the items that contained gluten.Very reasonable prices as well. Definitely worth another visit.

We were new in town looking for a place to eat lunch. How lucky were we to stumble on this gem. The waitress was friendly, helpful and suggested a seafood degustation. It was all cooked and presented perfectly. She then suggested ravioli to share to finish it off. What an amazing lunch we hadCaro cliente,Grazie per i complimenti che ha dedicato a mia moglie e per le bellissima recensione che ci ha lasciato. A presto!

Our ''Ristoranantino'' has the most beautiful view of the square. If you sit here, you can eat a fantastic plate of fresh pasta looking at the Castle or an excellent grilled salmon fillet with a salad of peas and quinoa. Our menu includes typical dishes o
Bracciano's Ristorante del Castello sits atmospherically beneath the impressive behemoth we later visited. It enjoys the ambiance afforded by the historic castle's largesse, presenting in itself an otherwise indistinctive visual character. Our young waitress proved both charming and supportive. (I'd forgotten to leave her a tip until returning to correct my error the next day).We began with a simple sliced fan style carciofi in EVOO, lime and shaved percorino at E11, a little high in price but the immediate area has a certain chi-chi vicino Romana authoritarian aura. Our thick pastas, possibly homemade, sat in a neutral red tomato sauce, topped with a small dollop of bufalo mozzerella and a wimpy teaspoon of chopped uncooked red shrimp which was supposed, one imagines, to lend impressiveness. The plates were pretty enough, but pricy and bland at E16 x 2. A decent glass of house white was E5. We had a bottle of still water and two (ugh) virtually COLD cappucini. The total bill with tip for so modest a meal came to an imposing E64.As we walked around the corner a bit we saw a (nice looking place) restaurant special lunch offering which included starter, primo, secondo, water and coffee for E18 pp. Peering at the plates, the offerings seemed more appealing as well as an outstanding value. However there was no imposing castle vista if one bent a chair 90 degrees left and 45 degrees back as was the case in our experience. Rating this experience average had more to do with the charming server than anything else. I suspect otherwise we'd have done a 2/5 stars.

Tutto buonissimo, fatto in casa e molto genuino, dagli antipasti ai dolci, serviti con tanta cordialità dagli stessi proprietari, da raccomandare assolutamente

Great mixed grills and strange but good mix of sea food and pistachio.Big portions and very tasty. Good wine and a big restaurant with full prosciutti on show that is hand cut to order. Nice wine and service. Their "free" bread that's on the table is very good and fresh.Dogs are allowed, toilet could of been cleaner but overall great experience. Around â¬80 for 4 people (only one main each and a bottle of wine)

A great little restaurant serving authentic, cooked to order, deliciously fresh food.James, the owner is a character and a great host. It was freezing outside and as we stepped inside to the warm cosy interior, our senses were heightened by the gorgeous aromas coming from the kitchen. Service is friendly and efficient. Our choices of Fettuccine Confunghi Porcini and Spaghetti Alle Vongole Veraci Grandi (Clams) were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.Panna Cotta for dessert topped the night off superbly. The house wine is good too. On this day we had also eaten a size-able lunch on our travels..next time we visit this restaurant we are going to make sure we are really hungry as there are so many great dishes to try!!

We are here tonight out of lack of options. We were having trouble finding an open restaurant on a Monday night. We were staying about 25km away and drove up to visit a neighboring restaurant in Canale Montenaro which unfortunately was closed. As we were hungry and this place was open we gave it a shot. WORST MEAL ON OUR ITALIAN VACATION! The pizza was unseasoned and almost undercooked with little flavour. Pasta was close to inedible. The ragu sauce had more cartilage than meat and tasted like pepper, the fettuchini was mixed with linguini and tasted like canned mushroom soup. Service was slow, especially since there were only 3 tables seated icluding us. Not sure if the cook took the night off given all the 5* reviews but our meal was horrible.

Seven of us visited this restaurant and all were delighted with our individual meals. Everyone ranking between 8.5 and 9 out of 10.The Veal Steak and Pumpkin Lasagne were especially good. An appetiser of mixed Bruschetta for the table was also really tasty.Wines are also very good and are sourced locally.Service is prompt and professional .This restaurant is in a rural location just outside of Canale Monterano and hence, a car is needed.Perhaps a slight negative is the very shrill house telephone that rings very loudly.

The restaurant looks just up to "ok", some of the chair covers were stained. The waiters were unhelpful and clumsy. We were not offered a taste of the wine (which is a normal standard) and the bottle was just left on the table. The starters:Antipasto di terra consisted solely of few cured meat slices and a chilly jam to pair with god knows what. The sauteed mussels were just not fresh. The Mains:Fried shrimps were apparently good.Fried lake fish was horrible, if you know the different species you would have realized that two out of three were not what was written on the menu. The lowest bit was the batter, bright yellow, tasted like frittata, IF and I say IF it was handmade I heavily question by who and what training he/she has on cooking. We have never been asked if the food was ok.The prices are absolutely stellar high compared to what is served.Though but absolutely accurate.
