We visited this restaurant three times. Although a variety of meat and seafood dishes were on offer, we were especially impressed by the olive oil mezes. In 8 years in Turkey I have never tasted better or fresher. The owner explained that the produce is home grown and very fresh. The stuffed courgette flowers were especially lovely. It is a simple restaurant, they don't serve desserts or fancy coffee but what they do prepare, is done to a very high standard. My husband had the meatballs once, and said they were excellent too. There is a shady porch and also a roof terrace with a sea view. Service is friendly.

we are the best one Turkish restaurant and vegetarian foods, mezze.sweet, beer , hot drinks, cold drinks, wine, group food
We stumbled upon this great little restaurant in the old town area only two streets back from the water. From the street it is difficult to see the charm of the place but once you go in there is seating in three different sections, but the most intimate is the little garden courtyard at the back. We had freshly caught sardines quickly fried. It was beautiful. We also tried a few of the mezze dishes including moussaka, rice and eggplant salad. The fresh salad that accompanied the meal was also very good. We had two glasses of wine and the total bill was 39TL. Will be going back.

Quaint old building tucked away in a backstreet of hilltop Assos. Small gated entrance leads to tiny courtyard with seating area to the back and then uneven winding steps to an upstairs dining area. Rather romantic. Great views out over countryside and to the sea. A very friendly hostess/owner and her daughter? ran the restaurant and, although simple choice of food, all was freshly cooked and flavoursome. Wine is available on request.

Ate here on 09/08/17, Booked in advance and requested a table near window with views over the river, got a window seat with views of 2 men eating outside on a balcony. Our waiter spoke little English and we stood at the service counter for a while then we were shown our table then asked what drinks required, ordered the drinks and waited 10 mins before drinks appeared.I asked for menu only to be told they have no menu and you have to pick from the cabinets. This done we asked only for 4 main meals and all at the same time. My wife received her prawns in garlic 20mins before our 3 fish arrived, followed 10mins later by our salads. As stated food tasted good, service was shockingI pass through this area regularly and won't be back to this place.

Came here because of high tripadvisor rating, and were disappointed. We had the bbq mixed grill and bbq octopus. Octopus was nice, but small- two tentacles!! Mixed grill was all overcooked and tough while the salad was tasteless. Only thing going for it was its location and view of harbour.

We visited this restaurant twice during our time in Canakkale and the food was brilliant on both occasions. We loved being able to chose our fish which was then cooked to perfection. the starters ,especially the stuffed courgette, were yummy. The wine sold here is also of a good quality.

If you are around this area, you should definetely try this restaurant. The hosts are very kind, the environment is nice. Weâve tried five diffeeent mezes and our favorite was smoked artichoke. Buttered Shrimp was also fresh and delicious. Almost all varieties had different recipes that we never had before. Great to have this kind of restaurant that is open all summer and winter long.

Cafe du Port is on the ground floor of Hotel Limani. It has a direct view of the harbor. This is a cafe-restaurant-bar where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks throughout the day and into the late hours. A bewildering variety of hot and cold
The food is tasty and the portions are good. The service was excellent. The only problem is that the staff didn't speak English, except of one garcon.Hello, Thank you for choosing us. We are very appreciated about your feedback. It's not so easy to find waiters who can speak English. We're triying to have at least one waiter who speaks English.Always welcome. All the best,Cafe du port
