Reviews on Mediterranean food in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. Byron Bay's beaches are dotted with lighthouses and surrounded by bottlenose dolphins, rays, whales and sea turtles. This former New South Wales whaling station turned tourist town is still strongly influenced by its recent bohemian past, when hippie lifestyles flourished. Bongos and didgeridoos sound in parks, sarongs and dreadlocks are common, and vegetarian restaurants abound. Give in to the casual vibe and stroll between beaches and bars for a low-key and happy day.

We had our business event catered for by Byron Bay Olive Co with cheeses, olives, sweet garlic, tapenade, cornichons, and cold meats accompanied with delicious panini bread. The food was a real hit as it was tasty and authentic French cuisine. I have heard guests have all gone back to order more food from Antoine and the team. Tres bien merci!Thank you so much for your review Lisa. We are very happy to have satisfied customers like you. We are always doing our best.

Novella is Byron Bay's quirky, busy little cafe, restaurant and bar, located right opposite main beach (you can even see the whales from here!). We're a small place, with a big personality, bursting with outstanding local produce, locally roasted coffee,
A nice little cafe close to the water However, the service was s bit disappointing. I ordered poached eggs on toast and a golden mylk (turmeric latte). My drink came fairly quickly but the food took a long time and wasn't very warm by the time it was served. Order for the larger group who placed their order after me started coming out before me.

My family and I went here on a Sunday evening at 6:30pm and were incredibly disappointed. Firstly, the decor was very nice but the place was so dimly lit that everyone had to use their phone lights to read the menu. When ordering, we asked the waitress if 5 dishes (which included just a bread) would be enough to feed 3 of us and she said it would be plenty. We were then told that they had run out of halloumi, and it was only 6:30! Then the food came out- firstly, there was only 2 pieces of bread, the waitress should have told us this and suggested we get another place. All the food was ridiculously small, not even enough to serve one person let alone three. And everything was lukewarm! We would never go here again.

Serving all day breakkie & lunch paired with signature drinks & specialty coffee. Restaurant open thursday to sunday nights. A modern take on Middle Eastern / Mediterranean cuisine with a menu designed to share.
Being local and eaten just about everywhere in town, I decided after a swim to walk down from the SLSC and have breakfast here.I ordered the Cairo eggs and a pot of tea. No English breakfast tea so they substituted with a coffee and it was an excellent coffee. The Cairo eggs were delicious and I have promised myself to return and have them again.I would normally give it a 4 out of 5 but we got some negative vibes from the waitress. Otherwise the food was great.

Modern Italian with a touch of class Tastefully Renovated offering 5 uniquely designed spaces for you to choose from - Deck, Garden, Booth Hub, Alfresco street front or Bar Window All bring Byron Lifestyle to our patrons
Loved it from start to finish. First and foremost, the kitchen was impressive - all of the food was delicious - fritto misto, seafood linguini, pappardelle bolgnese. However, the wait staff were the stars.... Professional AND beautiful....a great team effort and a memorable night out. Thanks.... Lance

Fabulous menu featuring traditional Spanish food; courteous, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable wait staff, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. A great venue for any occasion in one of the best spots in the whole of Australia - Byron Bay.
We came here for dinner on a Monday night and although we had a reservation, the place wasnât full which was nice. They also had the best soundtracking playing - I wanted to download the entire playlist. Anyways, food and cocktails were delicious and we had a bit of a corner table which was nice and intimate. Would definitely suggest putting on your list of places to try!
