Breda (Dutch pronunciation: [breːˈdaː] ( listen)) is a city and municipality in the southern part of the Netherlands, located in the province of North Brabant. The name Breda derived from brede Aa ('wide Aa' or 'broad Aa') and refers to the confluence of the rivers Mark and Aa. As a fortified city, the city was of strategic military and political significance. Although a direct Fiefdom of the Holy Roman Emperor, the city obtained a municipal charter; the acquisition of Breda, through marriage, by the House of Nassau ensured that Breda would be at the center of political and social life in the Low Countries. Breda had a population of 183,456 in 2017; the metropolitan area had a population of 324,812. It is part of the Brabantse Stedenrij.

Just had an evening meal (31/10/2014) with with family, what a lovely restaurant right in the centre of Ulvenhout.The extremely nice and helpful waitress and all of the ladies working that evening, fresh food and good service , what more can you ask for.Would recommend this to anybody in the area.

A nice corner restaurant with a cozy bar counter located on Haagweg, Tasos serves delicious Greek food. Friendly staff, generous portions, affordable prices - this place is a great option for those who love Greek cuisine. Free parking near the restaurant is a plus.Guests are greeted by the charming decor with beautiful pictures of Greece, seaports and the Mediterranean Sea on the walls. Their menu is in 2 languages - Dutch and Greek. This restaurant offers different dining options - dine-in, take-away (takeout) and delivery.From appetizers to meat dishes, the restaurant's menu offers Greek pita, gyros, salmon, scampi and calamari, desserts and more - guests have a good selection of dishes to choose from. Here, you can order Ouzo, a dry anise-flavored apéritif which warms the belly and whets the appetite. For meat-lovers, their Mixed grill is a marvellous combination of gyros, pork tenderloin skewer (souvlaki), chicken skewer, meat patty (souzouki) and lamb cutlet. Their meat and seafood platters are served with Rizi (Greek rice with tomato sauce), Tzatziki (cucumber yogurt sauce), fries and vegetable salad. Having a soft spot for feta, I thoroughly enjoy their Tiropita snack (Greek pastry made with layers of filo dough and feta cheese).All in all, this is a place where you can enjoy a hearty meal in a relaxed, cordial atmosphere. In my opinion, good value for money. Nostimo!

This means a lot, since I've been to many! I love their food, it's always extremely tasty. Even the bread you receive as a (free) starter is delicious! I've had different types of dishes - meat, fish, pasta. Their market menu is always a pleasure (â¬30 for 3-course meal). Only small drawback of this place is that it can be quite noisy if it's crowded.

We were staying in Den Bosch and decided to visit the town of Breda for the day. â¬16.60 per person return on the train.This is a nice town and the area around the Grote Markt is teeming with restaurants. We stopped here for coffee and cake. Two small cappuccino and a slice of Tiramisu set us back â¬11.30. Service was friendly, cake was tasty, coffees a little on the small side. Nice and relaxed watching the world go by.

A lot of choice. Dinner and lunch. Also healthy choices. Good portions. Meals are nice decorated. Friendly staff. Garden. Small Terras in front near walking path and near busy road. Locals also Turkish people eat here. In weekend can be busy. When you come at 17.00/ 17.30 without reservation you could get a table. When you like to eat later you better make a reservation.

Our friends took us along telling us we would enjoy the tapas. It was even better than I expected. We left it to the owners to decide what we would have and they couldn't have chosen better. I loved everything I ate tonight. The restaurant is small and cosy and the kitchen is open so you feel like you are in a family home almost.Thank you for your visite. We made a reservation 3 weeks in advance, because it's a very good restaurant.My wife and I choose the Classic menu of 3 courses, but you can also choose the Italian way of having diner.The fish soup was a starter, but There was so much fish in it, that it looked like a main course! The main course had various kinds of meat and all very well baked, very soft meat.This was really one of the best restaurants we have ever had dinner.Love to come back Here.

Wow what a surprise! The service at this place really amazed us. The waiters were extremely helpful, friendly and happy - in a way I don't think I've ever experienced before. Since my girlfriend was having her birthday, we received her main course for free!!The giros was good, the bifteki my girlfriend had was really good and had a rich flavour. Based on the service alone I would definitely recommend this place. Well done!
