In an exciting place, where magic is present in every corner, you are expected to try out our TUNANTA, RETINTA and LA RUBIA DE CAI, They are some of the beers artesanas that we elaborate with all our affection All of which you can accompany with tapas cre
We ate here on our first night in Zahara de los Atunes and our last night - and four times in between. Yes, we loved it. Although beer is a speciality, there is an amazing wine list - Abarinho and Cava being my favourites - excellent quality. The food is amazing and interesting. The ambience is relaxed and friendly and the service is good. The staff are very helpful explaining the interesting dishes. The owner really makes the place - so warm, and kind - and fun. We really felt the love - and miss it so much.

We ate at this restaurant numerous times during our vacation and overall this restaurant deserves its reputation as one of the best Fish Restaurants in the region with perfect tuna and an excellent selection of fresh fish. The service is very professional, courteous and friendly without being overbearing. The only negative is do not get placed in the annex area if at all possible, it is stuffy and has an unpleasant aroma.

I hadn't been to Bolonia in years so followed one of my favourite Spanish rules - turn left and keep going until the road stops - and it leads you here. It's such a refreshing place. The last restaurant on the beach with views to Morocco. The beach wasn't full and there were only 10 people or so having lunch and drinks. Do not expect 5 star - this is a beach bar. I had 2 cervecitas - only 2 euros each - and sat outside in the sun, listening to the wind (not as strong as tarifa), the Spanish music and the occasional stray dog. They have a huge Newfoundland inside but it's very friendly! So, cool and cheap beer, parking outside until 11pm for 1 Euro, lovely Spanish music, an awesome beach and stunning views. Well worth a visit! They also have windsurf hire/windsurf school to the side. One word of caution: beware the wind keeping you cool and tricking you into thinking that the sun isn't burning! Otherwise another Spanish secret revealed :D

I am surprised to see the positive reactions here on the site. The surroundings are beautiful, but that doesn't say anything about the restaurant. The servants were more occupied with being trendy than their actual job. It is okay to be relaxed as a waiter, but this was way over the top. It was only 2bof us, but they managed to serve my meal 20 minutes after they served my husbands. When I asked where my food was, I got quite an attitude. Not again for us...Thanks for your opinion, it helps us to keep growing. We are human and I feel what happened.A greeting!

If you want a typical Spanish lunch with views over the Atlantic ocean and you have been on the beautiful beach you won't go wrong here. Sit out on the terrace or inside to escape the baking August heat. Every summer we spend some time down the west coast for beach and a Chiringuito lunch and this place satisfies both categories.

We are Restaurante Pizzeria LA MARISMA, we have a variety of pizzas, all meat ibericas and retinto, and fresh local fish.
The staff were very friendly and courteous. We went Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday by 9.30 all the tables were full and by 10 there was a queue out the door. There is a good selection of pizzas, pastas and fish dishes. It is quite cheap but you need to check your bill as we noticed that we, and the other diners, had a few mistakes on the bill. The staff corrected it without complaint. It was good value for money.

We went there spontaneously (I don't think they take reservations, just drop by and they might have a free table, else you have to wait a little bit to get one if it's a busy day).We had the artichokes. They were simply amazingly good! Even if you are not into veggies you will love it, this dish is delicious!Ales highly recommended the calamaris in a sauce. Portions are kind of big, so two dishes should be enough if you also want to try the yummy desserts they have.Food is like home made, very tasty. Waiters are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed and local.A must in Bolonia!

We were staying in Zahara de los Atunes for a few weeks and made a trip to see the ruins in Bolonia. Having picked through a a bit of online restaurant info, we settled on alas Rejas. To say we were pleasantly surprised is a huge understatement! This place is absolutely fantastic, authentic in every way. We love seafood, so just past the amazing croquetas (try the sepia ink flavour) and a few other great starters, we went for a few types of fish and clams, all perfectly prepared. There are a few dining rooms, a bar area, and an outdoor terrace as you enter... so a lot of choice. Best to make a reservation, as it's quite crowded and wouldn't have accommodated last minute arrivals easily. The wine list was solid, however we were here for lunch so ordered a decent northern Verdejo white. The service is as expected in Spain, so order a drink and relax a bit.We tried many restaurants on our visit to Zahara and honestly this place in Bolonia is in our top three. There is quite a bit of parking available, so don't let the crowded village centre convince you it's not worth continuing to the restaurant.Highly recommended, give it a try!
