In 2008, Bay Shore celebrated the 300th anniversary of the purchase of the land from the Secatogue Native Americans. The population of the CDP was 26,337 at the time of the 2010 census.

We were at a nearby hospital and much to our surprise we were only 2 miles from Mediterranean Express. We never thought weâd be back in the area. What a treat! Went at dinner time and the takeout line was out the door. We ate in and enjoyed chicken orzo soup, falafel dinner with yellow rice, pita, and salad. The other meal was chicken souvlaki over Greek salad. The tahini sauce was also good.

A personal favorite! The Greek salad is excellent and generous. Their spinach stuffed flounder with Feta cheese is particularly good. When offered as a lunch entree, it's an outstanding value as it's the same portion size as dinner but less expensive.. Their baked goodies are scrumptious! Their cookies are spectacularly large and tasty and baked, as I understand, on premise!

We stopped by here and had the combo special. I had a chicken spicy chicken shawarma with roasted potatoes and garlic sauce, The shawarma was really good we ordered it spicy but there is an option not to have it that way.
