Middle Eastern inspired breakfast, lunch and a family-style sharing dinner. Cooking has always been the focus of my life, I've been a cook since my early teens. However when I left Israel to study in the UK, it really dawned on me just how important good
Ima provides a cozy setting for meals. We enjoyed the lunch menu and definitely want to return for the more family-style dinner. It was fun sampling baked goods, with spoons provided for tasting. The take-out salads and Imaâs great cookbook added to the experience. We had Cypiot salad with half I cheese, shmitzl and shakshuka with homemade Merguez sausages. We were fortunate to meet Yael, the owner and chef. Well worth the visit. It goes beyond humus and felalfel.

You can see them hand make the pasta in the shop window so you know that the pasta here is going to be good. There isn't a lot of seating inside but they also have an outside area which has heating and more tables. The menu looks interesting as it looks like a hand made scrap book and there is a decent selection of pastas and other food inside. They also had specials in a bottle on the table. The service was quite good, being checked on a couple of times before ordering and a couple more afterwards. Had the zucchini carpaccio to share at the start. It didn't look like what I expected since the zuccini were in rolls instead of flat but it was really tasty with the balsamic and parmesan. I had the special potato, mushroom and truffle ravioli and it was delicious. The butter sauce with the pasta and creamy potato filling was just amazing. So simple and tasty. I also had the budino chocolate pudding and that was a bit different than what I had expected (more like a flan instead of a cake) but delicious nonetheless. A really good place if you are craving pasta. The only issue was that like other great pasta places, the portions are fairly small, I could easily devour two or three plates but it was almost $30 a plate. It also looked like you could buy some pasta to cook at home.

4 for breakfast, service was great, the cafe was nice and everything was good. The French Toast was excellent, but everything else was just good. We all left happy and would probably want to go back again, but I kind of expected more.... maybe if the counter was full there may have been that magic item that pushed the experience over into 5 stars.

A gorgeous little wine bar/restaurant with sharing plates. The staff were super friendly and down to earth. They didnât rush us out the door. Ordered bread, lamb rump, raw trevally, roasted cauliflower and petit fours. The flavours were outstanding, especially the trevally. The petit fours werenât that exciting.Would definitely recommend this restaurant for groups or couples and hope to be back soon.

Found in 1989 in the heart of Auckland.Since then we have been providing the most famous Mediterranean and Turkish cuisines.
I would never go to this restaurant without TripAdvisor. We were at the Casino in Sky City and would like to eat something. I noticed that place from TripA and it was absolutely worth of those good points! They have good offers where you could select your menu which would cost 25/30/35 local dollars (15-21â¬). Of course itâs also possible select your food from normal menu but those offers are much more economical ones.My meze platter was great and also lamb moussaka was tasty one. The portion eas even too big!Thatâs one of the best place compared to price - guality level! Thanks for great review. We have small entrance and not really recognized by a lot of people. This year is our 30th anniversary also.Hope you see you again...
