We had lunch and a couple of drink stops here.Always seemed busy and a good position on the beach front.I had a mushroom omelette and although simple it was the tastiest omelette I have ever had.Well priced too!

One of the best seafood and mezze restaurant by the azmak river. Real authentic Turkish food only in Orfoz Restaurant Akyaka.
Ok, the service isnât great and the bread was stale but the fish mezze we had were the best weâve eaten .... poss ever! Kalamar dolma was fantastic with herbs and seasoning spot on. Very good crab âballsâ and mussel shish. I take my hat off the the chefs for there knowledge and excellent preparation of the food, Thanks

A very traditional, family run restaurant definitely catering for Turkish rather than other tourists. There is no English menu and the dishes are all regional. If you're brave-go! The food we had was great. Slow cooked beef you could eat with a spoon, fresh, crisp green salad, tzatziki, rice and very fresh bread-all for under £6. The family were really friendly and whilst we had no idea what we'd ordered until it arrived, that made it more interesting. The mediocre rating reflects that it was simple, delicious food rather than flash high end but don't let that put you off. Try it!

First time we have been to Akyaka and it is a wonderful place. We had a beautiful freshfish meal. Snapper caught locally. Everyone was happy and the ideal setting of the restaurant on the river is amazing. River taxis adding to the experience. Wonderful place and special service. We will be returning soon. Great choices on the menu.

Having developed a taste for balik ekmek (fish on half bread) on our previous holidays we just had to come here for lunch. We were not disappointed, friendly service, freshly cooked fish goujons, onion and a little salad on bread with a side dish of pickled peppers and a glass of cay or two, sat on the riverside, great!

3gece gecirdigimiz otelde , kapidan girdigimiz anda cok sicak karsilandik.

This restaurant was the first in the region, built by a local (Mr Halil) almost 55years ago. Main servers/waiters are serving there for more than 20years. Nothing to say about the taste of the food.It deserves 5stars and the fame.Ambiance is great, the sound of the flowing river is very calming and peaceful , seafood and herb dishes are great.A little bit pricey as I said, 2 people end up paying 200TL for only Meze's and 1 glass of Raki but it worth it for sure.I would recommend this place. It has very limited space ,max 50or 60people can be seated but not more. We have enjoyed this spot on our way from Marmaris to Bodrum, I recommend to make a detour from your trip to see AZMAK and its area.

Big Blue Hotel and Restaurant are located right on the beach front so you can enjoy the magnificent views of Gokova Bay from our Hotel Rooms or excellent beachside A La Carte Restaurant. The restaurant has a varied and rich menu catering to Turkish and In
I have tried this restaurant twice. For lunch and coffee / breakfast. But they are very amateur. They didn't have all I asked. Coffee? Machine is broken, Lemonade? finished, Tea? You have to wait 15 minutes etc. They have only one dessert. When you're listening jazz music they're changing the music abruptly to Turkish, opening the voice louder and you have to listen a same song like 20 times. Shortly; restaurant with a novice waiters, uninterested managers. I really surprise for the positive comments!!
