We were here 2 years ago, and everything then was perfect.Surprisingly, everything is still perfect. We come all the way from Australia, so rarely stay in the same place twice. This accommodation/restaurant/location is an exception and has it all.Great central location in a sleepy fishing village with superb food at your doorstep, or many tavernas close by.You can do a great value deal combining accom, breakfast, and hire car .Pick up & drop off at airport makes for a very easy stay. All in, a superb beautiful place to chill out yet have some exciting times.Read our previous review for more info, still valid..Thanks again Themi & Chris !

Warm and welcome greeting by helpful informative staff. Great attention to detail, to ensure your comfort. Fantastic choice of freshly prepared tasty food. The grilled octopus was my favourite, Steveâs favourite was the moussaka. The complimentary deserts were a delight. I love chocolate but have a quite serious chocolate allergy and great attention was applied to ensure I didnât have a problem - checking ingredients with the kitchen to ensure my safety, without making a fuss. Thank you! We would recommend if you want to eat at a certain time or wish to sit at a certain table, book it as it can get very busy. Popular place! Great food, warm welcome, we will be back.

This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide on a day visit to Kefelonia. I opted for seafood linguini The pasta was cooked to perfection in a really nice tomato sauce. The shell fish was also cooked well. My disappointment was the lack of fish. Three shrimps one of which was only the head, one scallop and five mussels. II could certainly have done with more

A little gem in a little gem of a town
To Perasma doesn't really have any unique selling point. The menu is extensive and clearly authentically Kefalonian. Our starters of prawns saganaki and baked feta were pleasant enough. Mains of grilled fish - red snapper and sea bream - were priced at 19 and 17 euro, respectively, which is fairly standard for Agia Efimia. The sea bream was overcooked, the red snapper somewhat better cooked. Service was perfunctory and the waiters had a habit of standing around bickering to each other rather than proactively clearing plates.

Kefalonia , Cephalonia, 280 81 Greece
Booked here especially on previous reviews and had lovely table in corner upstairs with beautiful views. Both ordered the Kefalonia meat pie. Pork and beef with 'home made pastry topping'. Not sure if it always tastes this way but not tempted to order again in any other resort on this meal. Not impressed at all. Bit of a let down after looking forward to this place so much.

A huge menu in multiple languages is a sure sign of a restaurant that caters for tourists, but at least Paradise redeems itself with a great view of the bay. The food itself is utterly traditional. Greek sausages were heavily processed and could have been made from any meat to hand. Cod with skordalia was thickly battered and the skordalia more like a garlicky salad dressing, any potato whipped into oblivion. Fried saganaki consisted of an overcooked puddle of salty cheese that was just about redeemed by a squeeze of lemon. Skewered swordfish was unremarkable. The cast of Captain Corelliâs Mandolin may have paid it repeat visits two decades ago when filming, but I canât see us doing the same.

Hotel restaurants don't have the best of reputations and the dining room decor at The Odyssey Hotel is off-putting in its garishness. Outside on the terrace, it's an entirely different matter, with its relaxed vibe and a great view across the bay. The menu is inventive with impeccable presentation - a real tonic when faced with the bland uniformity of all the me-too, "family-run", "authentic" restaurants in the rest of the town. The service is excellent, too, so a it's a big thumbs up from us.Dear DGEKent,Thank you so very much for taking the time to review Mnistires Restaurant. We are thrilled to know you have had a wonderful meal and your comments towards the restaurant and the team are most kind and highly appreciated. I shall take enormous pleasure in passing on your comments to them - and sure they shall be as thrilled as I am. We very much hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the near future at Mnistires restaurant.Warm regards,Catherine

Nice, friendly bar on the harbourside. Maria & Panos were tending the bar whilst we were there and they were incredibly friendly people. We'll stay in touch and return for sure. The music was what you'd expect from this kind of establishment - easy going. We didn't try the food, but the wine & Mythos beer went down well. Thanks a lot. Rob & Ruth x

My sister and I continue to visit Fior D'amore many times when we holiday annually in the lovely Agia Efimia and it never fails to be delightful. Since last year it has been refurbished to a very high standard and looks great. We enjoy Athena's well presented food, her apple pie continues to delight, cocktails are super....The service is always very friendly and efficient from Athena and her lovely, smiling assistant this year, Christina. Do go there and as several have said, watch the world go by while enjoying Athena, Theo and Christina's warm hospitality.

Sea-Rock-ÏÏ is a mediterranean cuisine, a la carte, restaurant located at the coast of Agia Efimia offering special food, relaxing atmosphere and magnificent sea views. We offer as well cooking lessons, if you are interested please contact us on our mail
I am sceptical about very good reviews of restaurants in holiday places: the sun is out, the wine is flowing and you have a jovial host and Greek music thrown in so what could be nicer. We spotted Sea Rock when walking along the coast from our apartment in Agia Efimia. It looked well attended so when I checked it out on this site I thought it might be a case of Holiday Euphoria! How wrong I was. The restaurant looks like many others in AF but the food is certainly not! The menu is certainly not your run of the mill Taverna fayre. Not a huge menu by any means but certainly something for most people. We shared Tsatsiki to start; beautifully presented and very tasty. Then for mains I ordered Cod on Spinach with Mushrooms and hubby had Pork in a Mustard and Lemon sauce. The dishes when delivered were very attractive and made you want to dive right in! The food was absolutely delicious. Hubby managed a dessert of Chocolate Mousse; I tried it, too rich for me but he enjoyed it. The house Rose was excellent as was the service - attentive and pleasant. In the UK this food would certainy merit 2 Rosettes. We were so impressed we booked for our last night on holiday thinking it would make a fitting end to a perfect 10 days away.
