Arabic Bistro. Local arabic modern food and drinks.
Luna (the name of the lovely soul who owns this restaurant) had been highly recommended by a friend from Haifa, so when we visited Nazareth, we made a point to reserve four seats. The key to great Arab cuisine is simplicity, but Luna complicates this formula with some secret beyond knowing. I had the lamb chops because I love lamb, but I don't know how I will ever have them again with any degree of enthusiasm. Luna's lamb chops were the best I've ever had! After our meal, she served us hand-made pistachio-filled pastries that could have been manna from heaven. If you ever visit Nazareth, do not make the colossal mistake of failing to book a meal at this incredible restaurant. Thanks, Luna!

We found this place by coincidence on TripAdvisor. Like so often in Israel, this is a great restaurant in a small hideout. It is situated next to a petrol station on the Ma'alot-Nahariya road. If you wouldn't know about it you wouldn't even notice it was a restaurant. On entering we were heartily welcomed by Miryam, the owner. She has Lebanese roots, she explained to us and she has a charming open way in which she cares for her guests. Her specialty is the original Lebanese kitchen, that has almost disappeared. She proposed us her dishes of the day which consisted of two completely different preparations of rice mixed with vegetables. One was vegetarian and another contained beef as well. The food was a nice surprise. Really exquisitely smelling and tasting dishes. A beautiful blend of spices and decorated with different kinds of nuts. With the food came home made olives and pickles that were slightly piquant. We'll certainly visit her again and are looking forward to trying some of the other items on the menu as well. Pricing is midrange, but worth it.

They did a great job of taking care of our group. The interior was well done with big stone arches and large tables. The multiple appetizers were good, and the entrees of steak or shrimp and calamari were both good. We enjoyed the red and white wines. Didn't really see any Oriental food though. Wait staff was friendly and as helpful as could be with a language barrier.
