At Costanera Restaurant, we take pride in offering Montclair the bold flavors of authentic Peruvian cuisine! More than just a nationwide trend here in the states, Peruvian food has a legacy as one of the world's greatest cuisines. At Costanera Restaurant,
Very very good. Different cuisine. The fries and cod appetizer. Try the Peruvian chicken shrimp rice and stir fry veggies dish. The rice pudding desert a ten. Great service. Nice atmosphere. BYOB. On and out for about $85 a couple all in. Worth every penny. Enjoy. Beware parking is a bit of a challenge so b prepared to search, find, and walk a bit. Especially Friday or Saturday nights.

When we were recommended this beautiful restaurant, we had only one thing in mind...great food, good service and great conversation!! Samba and staff gave all three with A+++! We loved the ambiance, the music (we could enjoy it without shouting at each other), perfect portions and flavors out of this world!!We look forward to coming again next volleyball game....from Georgia!!Thank you for a wonderful evening and to Diana Lilly for the recommendation!!

I have eaten at Xunta many times, both with family and alone. The food is always wonderful, authentic Spanish cuisine. (I say this having traveled extensively in Spain.)As a gluten-free âpescatarianâ I appreciate that there are many menu options. Unlike many restaurants which give lip service to gluten free offerings which donât hold up in reality- I can truly say that much of Xuntaâs menu is genuinely, and deliciously, gluten free, including the wonderful patatas bravas!A few details for folks who may want to try Xunta for the first time: The restaurant is BYOB like most Caldwell eateries (tip: the Foodtown two doors away has a decent selection of Spanish and Portuguese wine). It gets busy on weekends, so reservations are recommended. Like everywhere in Caldwell, parking can be a challenge, especially since the parking lot behind Xunta is mostly permit-required after 6 pm. But itâs well worth navigating these challenges- I highly recommend this restaurant!

Very long wait, no system to notify when it is your turn, loud music, dirty plates, filthy bathrooms, we had to ask numerous time for water. Food is very tasty, and portions are big, The rest needs a lot of improvement. People are standing all over waiting for their turn. The waters are not trained well, when we just set at the table the waiter sprayed cleaner all over the table and our clothes to clean the table, then when taking plates off the table the oil and sauce from food were flying all over us too. We took the remaining food back home and found long black hair on the plate, none has long black hair in our family:( not sure that tasty food overwrite all the filthy moments

4 friends out to dinner. Very noisy; tough to dialogue. We each ordered 4 tacos. Nobody (including me) felt they would order the same tacos again. The service was average. The price ($6/taco) was a bit steep, considering that 2 tacos do NOT make a meal (they are unusually small). We wouldn't order any $26 entree in THIS place.
