The restaurant sits near a beautiful vineyard. It has friendly staff, a good wine list and a menu with quite some variety of dishes. Foot is good but not excellent nor high end. Portions are rather big. Restaurant where you can go with children if they know how to behave themselves.

We chose this place carefully, after reading plenty of TA reviews. I am sorry to have to write a rare very-negative review. If this is typical of Peruvian food, we definitely will not travel to Peru. Very bland!! Actually, the ceviche we started with was spicy enough, but it was a good thing there was plenty of "sauce" left, and that we kept the plate at the table. When our main course of shredded chicken arrived, it was accompanied by an almost-tasteless "yellow chili" sauce. We dumped all of it on the chicken, and followed with all of the leftover sauce from the ceviche, and finally had some flavour. Service was poor -- probably because the waiter spoke no English and had no patience for our very limited Spanish. There did not seem to be anyone on staff who speaks English. Add in the fact that the chairs are some of the most uncomfortable I have ever coped with in a restaurant, and I am tempted to give this place a Poor rating.
Where to eat Wine Bar food in Santa Cruz: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Had a delicious dinner here after wine tasting nearby at Ventisquero! It was obviously a very new place but felt really cozy & inviting. Great service and menus/service in English (unfortunately our Spanish is very limited). We shared a steak and a few sides, everything was perfect. Extensive local wine list, and a bonus of dining in the Colchagua valley is the very fair pricing for a bottle of wine - similar to what you'd pay for the bottle at the vineyard! Highly recommend for travelers visiting this area.
