This is a very good place if you want to try some costa rican food in a very nice location. I also liked that they offer a lot of different natural drinks, which is great considering that a lot of places offer pulp only nowadays. I was surprised on how fast they served my breakfast as well. I will definitely return.Hello Jose, thank you for your nice review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast, especially that you liked the natural drinks. We like to hear that. ikuä welcomes you again soon with a delicious drink again.

We went to this place the other day. Party of 6 and had a great time. Prices are not that bad if you mostly order from Vocas or small plates. The size of the plates are more than adequate and prices are reasonable. Service was good, nothing outstanding. I would try it again but not for heavy dinner.

We stayed at the Hotel Luisiana and were looking for a cheap place to eat close by. We speak very little spanish but that was not a problem here. They had an english version of their menu. The beer was cold, food was good and the service was good. When we visit Costa Rica again we will be sure to stop back!

The new gastronomic niche that mixes the excellence of seafood and cocktails with a relaxed and classy atmosphere in the west of the capital. Porto 8 has a menu of around 40 dishes of high cuisine, an excellent service and, in addition, a space that allow

I went here to visit a friend. She suggested it was a nice place. Service wasn't there 100%. Like most places you have to chase your waiter. Only 3 tables were taken, so not busy to say he had no time. I ordered a curry dish which had the slightest hint of curry. She ordered a salmon dish. Both plates came with very unusual taste combination. When we tried to explain to the waiter as why we don't think the plates were great, he showed us how boredom and plainly said, our chef makes infusion plates. That's why they taste strange. Two glasses of wine, two plates and no desert, total price $60. Wouldn't go back and wouldn't be surprised if they close soon. Dear Mike,Thank you for your comments. We value our customers experience and your views will be used to improve our quality of service and food. We would be delighted to have you back at our place in the future.

Typical hotel bar in a moderate hotel. Nice enough for a night cap if you're staying at the hotel, but not interesting enough to warrant an effort to visit.

If you are craving for local food that is both delicious and affordable, this is the place to go. Among many great dishes: Lengua en Salsa, Chicharrones + Frijoles (Patrulla), and the Casado are tasteful and way better than the average expensive local food restaurants. The main dishes are very affordable (cheaper in price than average, but not in quality). During lunch hours, you might be waiting for a place to be freed. They make smoothies-styled drinks, instead of a mixed fruit juice. I strongly recommend!

We went with a large group of friends for an evening of fantastic food and conversation. With such a large group, we were able to try many of the dishes. Everything was fantastic! I highly recommend the ceviche and the chicken sandwiches. We will definitely be back the next time weâre in Costa Rica.
