The Mexican restaurant youâve been waiting for in Downtown San Luis Obispo! Flavorful, fine Mexican cuisine featuring a perfect twist on all the classics dishes. Specializing in infused tequilas, in-house margaritas, authentic yet unique Mexican cuisine s
Have been to this Mexican restaurant about 5 times in the last year. Great location in downtown San Luis Obispo. The food is awesome and very consistent. I love the fresh tortilla chips and the Mexican Cheese Dip is so good. I also enjoy the crab enchiladas. And to top it off really great margaritas. Highly recommend if you live or are visiting the central coast. Can get busy but Iâve always been able to get with at maximum a thirty minute wait.

The term Mistura condenses the essence of Peru, a reflection of their people and the countryâs cuisine, a marvelous mix of cultures of invaluable heritage. Our Mistura is a modern Peruvian restaurant that is as dynamic as the country it celebrates and its
Very interesting and extensive menu. You wonât see anything like it anywhere. Peruvian is a blend of Asian, Spanish, Italian, etc. fusion. We were there with another couple. The portions are large! The four of us split the two Choclo empanadas - a just bite each, but very tasty. We split the De Mi Terra and La Pituca salads, also very tasty with a blend of flavors. Maybe the best of the three main dishes, the ladies split the lamb shank and still had some left over. I had the Senor Lomo, pieces of filet mignon in sort of a stew, and the other guy had the Pollo a la Brasa. Both very good, although the Lomo was a little saltier than I prefer. We brought our own wine, and just $10 corkage fee for each bottle. We definitely will be back!

I could have driven by Taco King for a decade and never gone in, just dismissing it as another taco joint in a strip center. That would have been unfortunate. Fortunately, my wife drives by frequently and always sees people coming and going and said. "Let's go try it." We did. It was very good! The decor inside is very colorful and comfortable. The mariachi music is just right. There are only about 12 tables and most of them were full with people going and coming the entire time we were there. It's obviously popular, and for good reason -- their food is very good and inexpensive. When you enter, grab a menu and order at the counter. The menu is amazing in its number of offerings! Tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tostadas, specialties, on and on it goes. After ordering you sit down and will be waited on at your table after that point. The kitchen is fast and the service is very good and friendly. Our food -- tacos, enchiladas and the Queen Tostada -- was very good. We look forward to going back and trying many other things on the menu. Great discovery.
