The most authentic cuisine from Puebla.A New York Times choice.World Famous Cooking Workshops available daily.
Beautiful place, excellent service, and a real feel of luxury. Pricey for Mexico, but worth it as a special treat. I had the Manchamanteles which was such an exquisite mix of flavours. As a tourist, they encourage you to have the Degustacion, which includes six courses and lots of different flavours. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. There were lots of delicious things, but it's way too much food (if you get it, share between two people). And too many flavours - I mean, I think it's an overload. But fully recommend the place!

We had the famous mole upon arrival to Puebla, I was not impressed. It was basically a chicken leg covered in mole sauce with no sides. Much better options in this fabulous city. Service was slow and inconsistent. I did try breakfast and it was a bit better but not great just your average fare.

Dined here for lunch while touring Puebla and Cholula. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and historic. The menu had many great selections, everything we ordered was delicious and the presentation of the dishes was great. The service was excellent. This place is a little pricier on average compared to other choices but was worth the price.

It is located just around the corner of the street 5 de Mayo in Puebla (the most important walking street) It is 2 restaurants.. one right across the other. They specialize in tacos but they serve a few other dishes too. It is by far the best tacos in the
We were recommended this place by Lonely Planet, and it did not disappoint. It's fairly unassuming, but I can honestly say the taco arabe was without a doubt the best taco I had during my three weeks in Mexico. Fantastically affordable as well. I cannot recommend enough.

Whilst visiting this lovely city was recommended to this restaurant by our local driver.Early August and the recommended dish was the Chillies en negada! This is a delicious seasonal dish of stuffed green chilli with a crème walnut sauce, garnished with parsley and pomegranite seeds, representing the Green red and white of the national flag.Mole pueblana is chicken coated in chocolate chilli sauce with rice andseasoning, Tastes much better than it sounds or looks!.This is a true historical Mexican authentic dish, Mexican food is based on locally sourced ingredients and will heavy onchillies , the dishes are well balanced with strong flavours which totally balance in thefinal dish. Can't fault this for quality or taste, You can tell time has been spent hereslowly cooking all the ingredients,This is no quick fry in a pan with a plate of tortillas..

Mexxican cuisine Restaurant. Fusion between Traditional Poblana Cuisine and Mexican Contemporary Cuisine. Seasonal tipical dishes. Catering and Event Planning Easy Gourmet Products family: hot sauces, marmalades, pre-cooked dishes
For many years I have visited Puebla in this season because we are âChiles en Nogadaâ fans. A traditional recipe that every visitor should try. Using trip advisor we found this place that is part of the Puebla University and got surprised with the concept. A small but nice restaurant decorated with good taste and extraordinary service. If still the season, try the Chile but other dishes like fish âpescado adobadoâ or chicken âpipian verdeâ are delicious.

We had our Christmas lunch at the Santa Clara yesterday and every element was delightful. The ambiance was traditional and festive, the service attentive and great food. Even leftovers for a lite dinner that evening. Some have called this restaurant a tourist trap but I strongly disagree.

This is a city crowded with good taco stands and restaurants. La Oriental, however, stands out in hearkening back to a Middle Eastern origin for the famous Mexican "taco al pastor." That is, with the immigration wave from Lebanon and nearby countries in the early 20th century came their foods. What is called schwarma came to Mexico, and the lamb quickly got replaced with pork! The "tacos arabes" at La Oriental look to that heritage, and provide a fresh, tasty alternative ... we ate twice as much as we should have, because it was all so good!

A mexican restaurant with a special focus on dishes from Puebla. Located at the city center in Puebla just in front of the Cathedral. Our menu has tacos, cemitas, tortas, beer, mezcales and traditional dishes as Chalupas or Mole Poblano.
Wanted to try different Mexican beers and Comal had selections from Atlixco that were new to us. Decided to stay for dinner and was pleased that they offered vegetable entrees on their menu. Tacos huazantle was a delicious vegetarian taco with a leafy green and cheese patty while the fish taco was generously topped with shredded greens. The big bowl of grilled vegetables rounded out our meal. There are lots of meat options in the menu as well. The blonde ale complemented the meal perfectly. Staff couldnât have been more helpful explaining what was in the menu. Very convenient location facing the Cathedral. Thanks for visiting us! Cinco de Mayo´s Craft beer from Atlxco is one of our favorites, we appreciate you liked it. Cuisine from Puebla is very rich as you have noticed, from very simple dishes to complex ones like Mole. We hope you return soon to Puebla and continue to explore our cuisine. Very kind regards!!
