A small establishment in the town of Humahuaca, it was recommended by our local guide as a great lunch spot not frequented by the tour buses (it was very busy with primarily locals dining). The guide recommended the empanadas and we ordered the cheese and the vegetable empanadas and they were great - as good as any we had all week and we ate many! Humahuaca wasn't as interesting as Purmamarca or Tilcara but was a good spot to rest and enjoy lunch before our journey back to Salta and allowed us to see the afternoon lighting on the hills of the Humahuaca Gorge which was stunning.

Food is average, I tried the Llama in cream which had a heavy sauce so could not taste the Llama, but I ate it all. Wines are good and cheap. Service Ok but not special. Herself had trout which was cooked in the usual Argentinian way, namely overcooked and dry. That is the way they seem to eat it.

This small restaurant is a slightly longer walk from the coach parking. It has a chilled atmosphere and helpful staff.We had the set menu with delicious fresh empansdas (stuffed full of flavoursome fillings and with perfect pastry), llama stew and cream caramel for 150 pesos.Free WiFi was an added bonus.

went to this wonderful restaurant the last night of our stay in Jujuy and much preferred it to viracocha..this should be no.1! Christian our waiter was totally fantastic, and such good fun. (Despite us not speaking Spanish and him not speaking English!) the tamale was the best we have ever tried and the trout was delicious. The meal was great value and so was the wine. The aubergine dip and spicy tomato sauce was to die for too! We kept asking for more and more. Couldn't recommend this place more, lovely staff, delicious food and great ambience!

Authouctonous and delicious food. Very nice place with folk shows every night. Stories about people and tradition said in humorous way by the owner Carlitos Cabrera made you enjoy your time in Tilcara.Always full, be there before 9 PM!

We just wanted to have a drink but ended up eating in the patio before going to hornocal. We had the prime beef (very big) and the cazuela de quinoa. Both really good! However, we had to wait 30 minutes for our table to be cleaned respectively to be able to order. I still recommend!We are gladly to read the opinionMany thank "lilo lago" by recommend us!!!!

Hostel staff recommend us to visit here and absolutely we loved it! :) From the beginning we were interested in this restaurant. Its exterior and interior were so lovely! And they served various regional food with reasonable price. Plus, warm hearted servers and delicious food!
