Reviews on Latin food in Panama City, Panama Province, Panama. A diverse multicultural city of almost 1.3 million, Panama City offers a lot more than an up-close view of the Canal. Shantytowns slink up alongside shiny high-rise condos. The Old City is an atmospheric labyrinth of churches, plazas and palaces. Fifteen miles from downtown Panama City, Soberania National Park is an excellent destination for hiking and birding. For a fascinating look at the canal, take a taxi or local bus to Miraflores Locks Visitor Center and look down on the traffic below.

It is a restaurant with family atmosphere. We have a variety of dishes ranging from Colombian cuisine to Mediterranean . We offer a hall for special events and occasions . Artisanal pizza is also part of our menu.
After visiting many Panama restaurants we came across this restaurant and was surprised at the very large screens. We later returned to have dinner and watch a Seahawks game. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Donât miss out on the cremeâ caramel dessert (called a flan), you will see it in the photos. It was so yummy! All menu items were displayed in photos so if you donât speak Spanish this is a bonus. Food comes as shown. We ended up going twice as this was our favorite restaurant in all of Panama!

We were taken here by our OAT group for an early afternoon lunch. Service was superb. The beer was cold and the three courses were all excellent. The dining area is small, but cleverly decorated. I would definitely eat here again. The fish was really tasty!

CasaCasco is a perfect blend of antique and avant-garde divided into 5 floors, where you can enjoy 3 fabulous restaurants, a Club-Disco and a Terrace (Rooftop) with a panoramic view of the city. A new concept that brings together the best of the culinary
We were looking for a rooftop bar with food. Our taxi driver suggested Casacasco. What a delightful afternoon we had despite the passing shower. We were served by Mauricio and Diana. The drink suggestion and the food suggestion were perfect. Exactly what we were looking for in local cuisine. We then left and walked around the city, but we had to go back for one last visit. This place is a must stop for exceptional service and oh and the view.Oh! What a nice visit you made us, thank you for sharing these moments with us and for your recommendations. Come back soon â¤

Our mission at Donde Jose is to tell the story of Panama through our cuisine. We use endemic ingredients, cook with age-old techniques, innovate where value can be added, and work every day to contribute to Panama's culinary identity.
I had to tell the chef how good the food was. I've tried over 100 restaurants in different countries this year and this is the most flavorful! The presentation and story of each dish are unique. I will eat here every time I am in Panama. Fixed menu + cocktail total $100.

I cannot but add my review to the ton of positive commentaries this place is getting. Itâs just a great experience. Very informal and basic, the place has nonetheless its flare. The food is great and very local, you need to choose it from a chalkboard and order it at the cash counter. A bit hidden, youâll need to look for it, but it will be worth it!As dessert I recommend El Rallado (see picture)!

Using all the influences of the Panama canal and natives ingredients MAITO is a Panamanian restaurant offering local food with a twist.
Booked my reservation a month ago. Requested an outdoor table (had read that the air conditioning inside was intense). March 23: arrived. Hostess didn't see me because, you know, single women over 30 are invisible. Hostess told me I had to eat inside because I was just one. Inside was freezing. When I told the hostess I'd only sit outside, she reluctantly pointed me towards a 4-top. I waited a few minutes, no one stopped by my table, I left. Atmosphere--inside and outside--was mediocre, or I may have sucked it up and stayed. Out $15 in cab fare, but dignity intact.
