Things to do in Ollantaytambo
We went to this restaurant after an awesome but tiring day of hiking up the Macchu Picchu hill. Had dinner at this place and it was exactly what we needed! A mixture of Italian and fast food, delicious, freshly-made with love and at a better price than the restaurants on the main square of Ollantaytambo, as the name "Baratie" suggests. We had spaguetti bolognese and a pizza, which they were so nice to accompany with garlic bread. It was delicious and filling. Definitely restored our hungry bodies after a long day. Also has wifi, which came in very handy. Recomendado!

On main square and open for an early supper (many are shut until 1830). Main restaurant upstairs was empty so no one could hear our kids playing with the games on the comfy sofas at end.Sole waiter/bar man was cheerful chappie. We had drinks and appetisers. Juices and happy hour cocktails were good with frozen lemon juice well liked by kids. Food was adequate but not amazing. Bruschetta was cheese on toast? Alpaca carpaccio needed less balsamic and some olive oil. Wontons with big pile of guacamole went down well as did the onion rings. Marked down on service as got order wrong, seems like a common local problem to bring more than ordered!Unfortunately WiFi only works in half of restaurant near the stairs away from the sofas.

Ruben Ponce M. is the owner telephone: 084-204035 This is also a hostal. I hope we are able to review this place because we had a very good experience here. Thanks
Restaurant just behind our hotel (terrazas del inca) Food was ok, good portion. Staffs very friendly. There was an additional SERVICE charge which was NOT stated, which I think was inappropriate. Ask the staff, they can't even explain.

Not a very good meal and mediocre service. I had the trigo soup -- wheat, rice and meat -- that was tasty and OK. The Lomo Saltado, the staple of almost every Peruvian restaurant, was already lukewarm when served, while the rice was cold. There were more onions and peppers than there was meat. The lemonade that I ordered at the beginning was served after my meal, almost like a dessert. I and another couple were the only customers at that time. Not that good.

The museo del cuy-Restaurant Cultural was undoubtedly the best option in Ollantaytambo. I was. To dinner every day I was there, and in dishes we ordered you could see the expert hands and affection. Good portions and quick preparation. You must visit this place, you will love it.

Me and my husband were delightfully surprised to encounter this gem of a restaurant in Ollantaytambo! The owner is super friendly and the food is AMAZINGâ all organic & local. My husband has worked in high quality organic agriculture for many years and felt that the food was as flavorful and fresh as any farm he had ever been on. We are both very particular about the food we eat and Buffet Wasi exceeded any expectations we could have possibly had. Truly not to be missed...and at such a reasonable price as well! We are planning to return as soon as we are in the Sacred Valley again.

Wanted something light and had the chicken soup (with rice instead of noodles due to iffy stomachs!) and it was a large steaming bowl of homemade deliciousness! It was chock full of chicken and fresh vegetables. Friendly service and a lovely view over Place des armes from the balcony seating.

Wonderful little restaurant. Visited here after reading some of the reviews and we are very glad that we did. We shared an appetizer and each got a main course. Plenty of food! Would highly recommend and visit again. The atmosphere and food felt authentic.

We´ve Moved, Now We Are Located In Front Of The Santiago Apostol Church, Just Across The Bridge, Second Floor.
After reading the reviews, we decided it might be a good idea to reserve a table, however shortly after we arrived we were the only group left. This was not a problem, however, as we enjoyed the quiet. Service was very attentive, waiter incredibly friendly with excellent English and the restaurant had a lovely relaxed, family feel. Food was delicious, huge portions, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Brilliant value and well worth the slightly higher price tag.
