Where to eat Pizza food in Nazareth: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Don't let the name fool you: yes, there's free wi-fi but it's the menu and the owner's personalities that make this place a gem! I went in there ready to just order a sandwich because my husband told me the guy in there was really nice and the Cuban sandwich he had was very good. Well, the guy (who I found out later is one of the owners) wasn't there but his business partner was and she treated my teenage daughter and I like we were guests who had come for a special dinner. She took the time out to chat with us about her recipes, the town of Nazareth and some very interesting stories of her previous life in the Bronx. This made for a very enjoyable afternoon for us as first time visitors to this town. All of the Puerto Rican and Peruvian dishes, are made from scratch. I had a delicious entree consisting of pulled pork, rice and red beans w/a small salad included. So-o-o good! Then we ordered the flan, cheesecake and hot chocolate. All made there and the best we've ever had! I wish I lived near this cafe because I miss this place already! If you live nearby, consider yourself lucky. Also, phone in your order ahead of time for the Latin entrees to save time if that is an issue.

We went to Mesa because we frequent Tapas in Bethlehem all the time. My wife and I had our first date there, got engaged there and go there on our Anniversery of our first date and engagement every year for the last six years. Knowing the owner chef of Mesa is the same owner of Tapas we decided to try it Saturday night before a show at the State Theater. Big mistake. The atmosphere was nice but very loud. We were seated in the back and waited...and waited...and waited. They did bring up the most soupy red onion flavored salsa ever, but no water or drink order. We walked out after waiting 20 minutes. Enough said.
