A friend convinced me to meet her here for lunch. We both had the pork. It was DELICIOUS! I brought home beef for my husband and he loved it. Service was efficient and warm. The Tres Leches cake was lovely for dessert.

Visited alpaca with my family and discovered a new type of chicken. This chicken was so tender and juicy and had flavors like I had never eaten before. The staff moved very expeditiously and was there to satisfy your every need. I would recommend alpaca to anyone you have to go there!

Our hopes weren't high for this Mexian restaurant in a shopping center. But the chips were warm and the salsa obviously homemade and delicious. Waitress was friendly and helpful when the fresh fish (salmon) for the tacos was all gone. Her recommendation for chicken adobo tacos was a great idea. And the order of cheese enchilladas came with Mole, instead of the ordinary enhillada sauce. Excellent. Both came with really good, fluffy mexican rice and refried beans. Since this was our first visit, we didn't know about the fried plantains that everyone around us was having but we made up for it by ordering a serving for dessert. Probably should have had the churos instead but it was an interesting way to end a great meal. Will we be back? You bet. If everything's as good as what we had for lunch, it might even become our new favorite mexican place.

Menu organization is confusing causing one to take too long trying to decide and not take too long. The food is expensive for a line up and order restaurant even with a Groupon coupon. Two people $32 is like a sit down and order place. I felt taken advantage of. The food offering was average in type and taste. It appeared that the thrill is the novelty of the food not the type and taste.

Ate at Mez yesterday evening â was expecting something great since I was a long time fan of 518 in Raleigh. Disappointed in virtually every way possible:1. Ordered fajitas â plate was cold â food was slightly warm. Chicken was warm, but obviously not freshly prepared â difficult to chew. The rice on my plate was equally cold â two of three tortillas were warm â not so the third and it literally fell apart in my hand.2. My wife ordered a chicken taco. The meet on the taco LOOKED like tuna fish from a can â it was ice cold and after tasting it, Iâm not sure I know exactly what it was. I am not an connoisseur of Mexican food, but generally a taco is served in a warm soft tortilla (except at Taco Bell). This was a flat cold piece of tortilla.3. We ordered a side of corn pudding, and it was a small square in a bowl â it was also ice cold. 4. Our server was professional in demeanor, but decidedly unenthusiastic about our presence â he only visited out table to deliver the food, to ask about the food and upon relaying our comments above, he took the taco away and, based on our request, removed it from the bill. There was not adjustment or accommodation made for anything else. When I flagged him down to get my check, he wanted to know if we wanted desert â donât think that was the right thing to ask â he did refill my water glass at that point as he was taking my credit card for payment.5. The menâs bathroom smelled sort of âoldâ if you know what I mean, but my wife advised me that the empty womenâs restroom seemed to have a strong sewer type odor.Your restaurant is very attractive, but my assumption is you are busy at lunch, but not at dinner. We walked in the door at 5:45 and the scarcity of cars in the parking area should probably have clued us in, but I really wanted to eat at the restaurant so went forward anyway much to eventual disappointment.
