Reviews on Latin food in Miami, Florida, United States. Miami is hot hot hot! And it’s not just the sultry weather. Here, the nightlife is scorching, thanks to a strong Latin influence and spicy salsa culture. Dance the noche away in a nightclub, or indulge in a fancy meal at one of the city’s celebrity-owned restaurants. By day, hit the beach of course, or have yourself a walkabout, taking in Miami’s colorful art deco architecture. Grab a Cuban sandwich in Little Havana, then ride the vintage carousel at Virginia Key Beach Park.

Prior to ordering, the staff promised us we would not be just dining, but would have a 'food experience'..we did! Nicely prepared and presented food options: pork, beef, shrimp, vegetables, all with their own whimsy. The broccoli was topped with lemon cloud that made it a delectable and lovely dish. Beef was also in a cloud of airy coffee and served with its own special seasoning and sauce presentation. Should have stopped there, but had to have the mousse..glad we kept going!! Only criticism would be the need for a less pricey wine option ($16, $17 a glass and we ordered 'house').

We went for an early dinner. No wait. They gave us a complimentary appetizer. Very good, 2 pcs. One for each of us. We shared a patacones w/shrimp appetizer....fabulous. Then we shared a churrasco steak and fries with a small side salad. Delicious. They have a full bar. Many beers both draft and bottles. Service was very good. They have Colombian and other S. Peruvians know how to eat well, and being Peruvian myself, I am very demanding when eating out.To me, good true Peruvian food is hard to find in Miami but El Pollo Inka is the best. They have the most delicious food cooked the traditional way and with true Peruvian ingredients. Food is fresh and super tasty, it reminds me of home. They not only serve Pollo a la Brasa but they have a complete Peruvian Menu including out of this world desserts. To start I recommend the Ceviche de Pescado Clasico of course, then you have to try Tallarines a la Huancaina with Lomo Saltado, and for dessert the homemade Chocolate Cake with Lucuma icecream. OMG! My mouth waters just thinking about it. Portions are very generous and they offer excellent service. So next time you crave true Peruvian Food give El Pollo Inka a try, you will not regret it!!!! Yumm!!!!Wow Carola..! Thank you so much for taking the time to give us such a great and detailed review, nothing excites our team more than reading an awesome review like yours. On behalf of all our employees THANK YOU!!!
