We used to eat here years ago, but we stopped for some reason. But recently, it came to mind so we decided to have dinner there. Iâm glad we did.The place is not too big. Itâs tight, and itâs always crowded. It hasnât really changed much since the last time I was here years ago. Feels almost like a diner. Service was really good. The food is excellent I had the mountaineer platter, which is chiccarones(?), steak, fried egg, avocado, sweet plantains...all over white rice and beans. My wife had the whole fried snapper, which was very crispy, but the fish was not over cooked. We shared a half pitcher of sangria. They donât put ice to fill it up. So for a half pitcher, it gave about 6 glasses. Very tasty, and not diluted at all. Will definitely be going back!

Sabor is a good restaurant with authentic Columbian food.We had Seafood Paella - plenty of seafood (clams, calamari, shrimp, mussels), chicken, chorizo and beef mixed with yellow rice / veggies. We both ate the same dish and had enough to bring home for our grown son.Because it was very busy, the service was a bit off, slow and, had to wait a bitfor your dinner.A little pricey but well worth it.Give it a try - Enjoy !!1

Fine Mexican cuisine in an elegant and modern environment. Our decorations and food make you feel like you are on vacation. We serve Long Island's best margaritas and have a live Mariachi band Friday thru Sundays. Having a special event? Bring your guests
Went to this place a few times now. However, as we were leaving work around 3:45 we decided to stop by for happy hour. Unfortunately, the bar was so crowded there was nowhere for us to sit or stand around the bar, so we decided to get a table only to find out that if you are not around the bar we cannot get the happy hour prices. We did not that stop us though even though we had to pay full prices for drink. We also ended up ordered full plates from the menu. Needless to say foods and drinks are always good here. You wonât be disappointed unless you are looking to do happy hour and there is no space.

Margarita's Cafe Wantagh is recent member of our proud family owned businesses creating fine Mexican cuisine. We feature upscale dining with rich decor and a spacious Cantina for those who enjoy meeting new people or spending time with friends and loved o
Margarita Cafe catered my nieceâs bridal shower. Three different entrees were ordered, my brother picked the orders up; the order was ready and well packaged. We had the chicken fajitas, Mexican falditas, and the arroz con pollo. The sides of refrained beans, black beans, guacamole, pico de Gallo were excellent. The restaurant also included salsa & a tray of freshly made tortilla chips which were crisp & not salty. The falditas were delicious, skirt steak nicely seasoned and tender. The chicken fajitas also were tasty & the grilled white meat was very tender as well. The arroz con pollo was tasty as well. I liked that the food was seasoned but not salty. We had a group of 30 woman and had plenty for everyone. Surprisingly, a lot of the food was eaten; I think everyone really enjoyed the food from Margaritaâs Cafe. Iâm looking forward to having a meal at the restaurant the next time Iâm in Wantagh.
