We booked our dinner based on reputation and Guiso did not disappoint. Our server was engaging and knowledgeable, and as sister of the chef, she knew every detail of the menu. The pupusas were delicious, the borracho prawns were unique very flavorful, and the Cuban sliders were the best we have had. An excellent meal topped off with a local wine made for an unforgettable experience.

Healdsburg is probably one of the few towns that has Zagat rated taquerias. In this town our favorite Mexican restaurant is El Farolito. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, the service is good and the food is fantastic. The restaurant has a full and varied menu and a bar so you can get a full on dinner or you can call in for a burrito to go ( I recommend the veggie burrito) so whatever you crave give El Farolito a try!

A business colleague and myself went to lunch at this excellent Mexican cantina. The food and wine was fresh and exquisite. The only reason i didn't give it a 5-star rating was because of the price. Including the wine, i found it to be a very expensive lunch. I should say that the owner came out and chatted a while as well. He was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
