Being Cuban I can honestly say this is as Latin as it is going to get in Gainesville. I really enjoyed the brunch here! I got the guava crepe, if you have a sweet tooth this is your item! The best part about this brunch is the different mimosas they offer. They have a variety of tropical juices: mango, guava, passion fruit. It is a nice change from you typical mimosa. Definitely recommend this place if youâre looking for a great brunch or your missing you Latin home cooking!

Absolutely casual. I would say X Casual. It is no only Cuban - you find also few Venezuelan delicacies. We had tequenos and chicken arepas. Tequenos were really good, arepas only average. The donât serve alcohol. Arepas outdoor without beer, I donât think is even legal.

Flaco's is an excellent little Cuban bakery/eatery. The pastelito de queso is as good as you'll find anywhere. The Cuban Gator sandwich is a unique experience. Growing up in Miami, I've enjoyed dozens if not hundreds of Cuban sandwiches. Never in my life have I seen a Cuban sandwich sub out the ham for ropa vieja. Sounds ridiculous and almost sacrilegious. This is explains why the sandwich is sinfully good. Did I mention the Cuban bread is baked fresh every day? Oh, and they have tacos too. Didn't try 'em, but the folks in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying the heck out of them.
