Love At First Sight
Lived in Rio for 2 months and have been there and other spots in Brazil at least 6 other times so I know my feijoada. The actual dish was fine but the choices and portions of the carne (sausage and beef) was at about a 20/80 ratio v. the black beans. Literally, there was maybe 2-3 ozs. of meat swimming in the beans. On the other hand, my wife ordered the Chicken com coco and it was just teeming with chicken breast-at least 6-8 ozs. or more.Further, while all of the other staff we encountered were either locals or spoke English with no accent, the person who described the specials was clearly not and we had an incredibly hard time understanding what the dishes were-and naturally she didn't disclose the prices until we asked. Finally, during the main course, no one came by to check on us to see if we were enjoying the entrees nor did we get our water refreshed-I had to finally track down the busboy. In closing, a truly disappointing experience. Luckily we don't live in DEN so we would have no reason to return.

Love the cool vibe... by cool, I mean everyone working there is cooler than you are, but they donât act like it. Such a rad vibe and the food is great! Tons of drink and food options. But the vibe is the real reason to go. Loosen up, roll up your shirt sleeves to show your tat sleeve, and settle in for a long night of tequila and memories you wonât tell!

I walked in for a solo meal here during a business trip to Denver, and got a seat at the bar. This place is super fun. There was a DJ playing an excellent mix of music, great lighting, friendly staff and very good food. The vegetarian Chile Relleno and the Queso Fundido are both excellent. Great choice of beers too. Highly recommended, but be prepared for it to be loud and busy. Not really a romantic first date kind of place!

The menus at Tamayo offer a modern interpretation of authentic Mexican food with recipes created by critically acclaimed Chef/Owner Richard Sandoval at his Maya Restaurant in New York City. Our warm decor is spectacular with amber & coral colored walls fe
This was my first visit to Tamayo as part of a group business dinner. We had a private rooftop area. The appetizers drinks were good and the service staff, very attentive. I had the Poblano Tamal, Baby Kale salad and slow-roasted carnitas. Everything was tasty, seasoned well and the carnitas were moist and a massive portion. In downtown Denver, check Tamayo out.
