maybe in Dana beach, florida
So we left the aquarium in Miami starving and parched from walking in the sun all day. Four of us walked in for the greatest Cuban meal ever. Oxtail special was like our mother made when we where growing up, Las Vegas a combination of pork chicharones de pollo, fried chicken pieces, steak and onions with white rice black beans and maduros (sweet plantains), skirt steak with shrimp and salsa verde and porkchops tostones. These dishes all would have fed two persons but we all each ate our entire meal plus home made Sangria.

Dined on a Tuesday. Pretty busy for mid week. Started with shrimp and pineapple tostones which were very good. Mojitos are also tasty. Had the vaca frita - shredded beef with onions with mojo rice and plantains. Meat and rice were flavorful. Plantains perfectly sweet. Table also had shrimp paella, needed a bit more heat and spice. Fried whole red snapper was also good. Venue has old Cuban flare inside and out. Lots of items to choose from and try. Worth the trip.

Oh Ceviche is a great local spot for Peruvian cuisine. Their selection of dishes is very ample and the service is excellent. I visited with my family and we enjoyed their food, which was perfectly executed. We ordered "Causa rellena con pollo", fish ceviche, aji de gallina and a few other dishes, all which were excellent. Portions are good sizes and prices are decent (mid range $12-$20). The place is not very big but the ambience is good. The owner (or manager?) approached our table several times to make sure everything was to our liking. Their dessert menu isn't that great, but we did order a cuatro leches cake and a maracuya mouse, which was amazing!!!I strongly recommend this place. Awesome taste and great atmosphere!

Date of visit: Tues, 6/19/18, 7-8:15pmMy wife & I went to Taco Tuesday happy hour, sat at a table in the bar. We visit this restaurant several times a year. After the waiter took & delivered our food & beverage order (Latin male, tall, dark hair, about 50-55 years old), he did not attend to us at all until he brought the check. We had to wave & ask other waiters for refills â some who never returned, & I got up to ask different employees for drink refills, extra salsa and finally the bill. The bill incorrectly charged us the non-happy hour prices for our tacos (which were more tiny snack tacos with limited ingredients than what you would expect). This waiter said to just deduct the extra charged & pay that. We declined â I needed the proper bill, which he brought us. So, I left cash for the bill and an extra $1 tip, much less than what was expected, as we had ZERO service the entire time â completely ignored by all. Then, as we exited the front door, this same waiter ran fast after us with a dollar in his hand saying loudly in front of everyone that we forgot this. I was very upset he made such a rude and disrespectful show in public, so I loudly told him the service was absolutely non-existent, we were ignored the entire time we were there, the bill was incorrect, so you deserved no tip. And, for sure, I told him, we will never return to this location again. These actions: ignoring us & running out after us â totally reflects on the restaurant for allowing such arrogance to be allowed. I am sure he has not only done this to us. So, we will not return to this location & we aren't seeking compensation. I also called from my car & asked for the manager & explained this, who was apologetic. He asked me to call the following day to speak with the general mgr. which I did twice, but he was never there (I feel my heart pounding as I write this).

Iâve been going to this place for years and their food is simply amazing. The authentic flavor of all tacos, burritos and other dishes is nothing short of delicious. They have a great taco bar and many options to build your dish to your liking..I love their fresh guacamole and I particularly like the tacos âal pastorâ.Service is quick and friendly. The place itself could use some renovations but for now itâs a nice âhole in the the wallâ type of eatery..I highly recommend it.We are thrilled you enjoyed our location! Hope to serve you again soon!

This is my go-to restaurant! I go several times a month and make it a point to bring my friends and family whenever they are in town visiting. Everything on the menu is delicious but if I had to recommend something it would be the churrasco and the champignon chicken. The service is always good, the atmosphere is nice and there is never a wait. I also like the yummy mojitos which come in many flavors. Try it, you won't regret it.

The food we ordered & received was DISGUSTING! EVERYTHING was BURNED so badly....it looked like it came from a crematorium! ALSO...we were OVERCHARGED on drinks! NOT MUCH "BANG FOR YOUR BUCK" at this place! We have eaten here BEFORE & ALWAYS liked the food! Obviously, something change!

Family owned and operated BEST cuban cuisine around!!
We decided to eat breakfast at this place because it has a 4.6 Stars (620) reviews. Donât come here if you are hungry! If you look at some of the previous mediocre reviews, they all state the same, bland food, smaller than normal portions, limited menu choices, high prices, false replies to correct the pointed-out issues, and breakfast only on Saturdays.Having eaten plenty of Cuban food in my life, I have to say that we were quite disappointed. The place is relatively small. There were two waiters that were polite, but they were not fully engaged. We ordered the humongous Cuban sandwich and two cups of coffee. Sadly the Cuban sandwich looked like it suffered from anemia (see previous reviews-they promised to correct this)! Three - six months later they havenât! I took a picture to ilústrate. Lots of cheap ham and a Little strip of pork, just enough to give it some flavor, and the cheese was missing in action! Mom and Pop shop with high prices and marginal portions; I will not return!!!

Iâve been visiting this restaurant for the last year with colleagues. This place has never disappointed. Their ceviche is good, their dessert awesome, their beer is good and their hospitality even better. This is a hidden Peruvian gem in Davie. Dr. Eric Jimenez
