Reviews on Latin food in Belgrade, Serbia. Belgrade's long and storied history is suggested by its architecture, which varies from Byzantine and Ottoman to neoclassic and romantic buildings in the older neighborhoods, and from Art Nouveau to brutalism and neo-Byzantine design in New Belgrade. The city's many theaters, museums, monuments and opera houses boast a deep and fissured cultural life while the beaches and rivers attract sunbathers, sports enthusiasts and partygoers on the popular floating river barges that serve as nightclubs.

TORO Latin GastroBar is a creative blend of Pan Latin styles and flavors. Chef-owner Richard Sandoval, whose accolades include Bon Appetit Restaurateur of the Year and Mexico's Toque d'Oro, artfully spins South and Central American ingredients into small
This restaurant is in a very popular neighborhood called Beton Hala (concrete hall) at the old river port beneath the Kalemegdan fortress, where old austere warehouses were transformed into great dining venues. The setting by the Sava river is great, specially outside at dusk when the last sun rays shine over you.The staff is fabulous - one of the best I've encountered worldwide - very kind, funny with a smile making jokes but not pushy and doing their best to help explaining and recommending dishes.Menu is not that big, but dishes offered are selected with care. Focus is on small dishes, consisting of around 100 gr each, so you should order several of them and share. They have an option of kind an all inclusive when they constantly bring different dishes till you drop down. For foodies and hungry ones it's a heaven. We didn't do that, but ordered 4 different and all were absolutely delicious and fabulous. Being highly popular, making a reservation would be advisable. Prices are little bit higher for Serbian standards, but very acceptable for westerners and the food quality approves them.Dear B1714DThank you for spreading the word.It makes us happy reading your review. Our team is thankful for noticing our efforts to make your visit memorable. Please, join us again for new round of nice time.Latin regards,Sasa Ristic

Casual street food Mexican restaurant serving fresh burritos, churros and lemonades. Burrito Madre is located in Savamala, and it's a perfect spot for taking a quick lunch and enjoying comfortable ambiance and vibrant atmosphere.
First time I went here, the pork burrito was inedible salty. Terrible. The second time (why did I go again?; the price - one star; the location - very near my hotel AND I thought they couldnât mess up a chicken burrito) it was OK. A bit salty, but overall underwhelming.

We were in need of a quick snack so we just decided to give it a go and were quite satisfied. It's cheap and healthy and just what we needed. Instead of a burrito, you can also get it as a salad and you choose the ingredients. Pretty cool place.
