Clear recommendation to try this restaurant if you like asian food. We ordered Korean Hot Dish served in a large pan on a gas stove integrated in dining table: Haemul Jeongol.Spicy but delicious seafood!Only downside is the environment: restaurant is located inside of a mall with basically no further shops still around...

Taipei 101 an exciting Asian Fusion style dining and entertainment experience. A modern mix of classic Asian cuisine from the Pacific rim including Taiwanese, Cantonese, Thai, Korean, Janpanese Flavors. Taipei 101's contemporary yet elegant designed invit
The good: I can't say enough good things about the food. It was excellent. We started with the Spring Rolls, crisp and tasty. We moved onto the Baby Rib appetizer, which were full sized ribs but delicious (if you like an Asian sweet BBQ sauce - and I do). We enjoyed the Mandarin Orange Chicken and the Chow Fun Rice Noodles with stir-fry beef. All the dishes were fresh, flavorful and wonderfully presented. Finally, everyone we met was friendly. Now for the "needs improvement": Simply put, the service. We ordered our drinks and waited. And waited. And waited. Then our server came back to the table to ask which wine we ordered. Eventually our drinks arrived and then we waited for our appetizers. Unfortunately, our main meals came out just a couple minutes after the appetizers. Our server came back only once to check on our drinks and never check on us once we got our meals. Taipei 101 is conveniently located across the courtyard from Emagine Theater and their atmosphere fits the Asian Fusion motif. Hoping we just got them on a bad service night. The food quality, however, will bring us back to give this place another try. Enjoy
I love Japanese Korean combined restaurants, they offer up the best foods of both worlds. I like their Cali and cooked sushi rolls, usually get the yukaejang Korean beef soup here, itâs beyond good here and such a nice combo of noodles, veggies and heat. Wear dark clothes though if you get the soups, you are bound to be wearing some of the red sauce on your threads, unless you arenât slurping up your soup and noodles like the local. Their bibimbap dishes are good and you can replace the beef with chicken at the Dearborn location. The food is even good as a carry out tooI also like their ginger salad and miso soup for starters too. I started with futo maki rolls, Maewoon Tang spicy fishy stew and a Dak Gui spicy chicken BBQ, spicy seafood Ramen, house salad and miso soup as well as shrimp tempura. The futo maki is okay, big bites, prefer the korean kimbap better. Their side of sriracha is extra and it isnât sriracha at all, just a hot sauce. The spicy dak gui isnât cooked on the grill and only in the back kitchen. Only the regular chicken is cooked on the grill. The spicy chicken marinade tastes good. The ginger here has a funny and strange taste and doesnât taste fresh at all. The seaweed banchan wasnât my thing, the kimchi was decent, so was the cucumber kimchi and fishcake. Canceled the spicy seafood ramen and the shrimp tempura since it didnât come out well after we were half way through the meal. Our teas and water were not filled and the older waitress wasnât the most patient, friendliest, accommodating or attentive to us and made us feel like we were a burden to her.
