Gabose is located on the west side of university drive in a stand alone building in a strip mall. It has oriental décor and a very pleasant atmosphere. They have charcoal grill, open kitchen, tables, very good service. The food is classic, we had both wine and hot tea and japchae (noodles, vegetables, egg, sauce, shrimp).

This clean quiet little restaurant with helpful staff served me a generous portion of their very tender bulgogi. I thought it was a little expensive, but it is enough for 2 people. It isn't as flavorful as my husband's recipe, but was still tasty. I also ordered fried pot stickers that were quite good along with a very delicious dipping sauce, one of the best I ever had, that I poured over the bulgogi and asked for more to pour over the rice. I will return.

I enjoy Korean food and Chef Michael is doing great here . Authentic Korean , and well executed . They need to add more servers on the floor. This is family own business and the entire family work everyday and make you feel so welcome. When busy could be slow but the wait is so worth it , portions are generous so everyone will be satisfied .
