We visited Gin'ro this evening; five friends all of whom have a taste for good Korean. Two knew (they'd been there before) they would choose the barbecue (beef on both choices); one chose the gyoza, knowing she could and would be sampling other dishes. My companion chose Marmite de fruits de mer au tofu (called SON DU BU in Korean) and I chose the BiBimBap with beef and egg. We were served a very tasty and light broth soup as a starter, along with many little pickled veggies as side dishes. The BBQ & Bibimbap also come with choices of little Korean pancakes (I chose this) or a salmon maki roll or salmon sushi. My friends chose the maki roll, it looked good.BBQ is done as is usual, on a gas-heated hot surface built into the table. Each of the pair who chose BBQ were served a generous platter of beef, sliced very thin and marinated in a sauce. All accompanied by sliced mushrooms and veggies, along with a generous bowl of rice. I sampled the BBQ and it was the best I've had.My Bibimbap came in the sizzling hot stone bowl, and was delicious. You add your own sauce, so you can control just how hot the final dish may taste. I've enjoyed Korean in various restaurants in France and the US (in the company of a Korean co-worker at times) and to my taste, Gin'ro was Very GOOD. Portions were quite generous, none of us had room for dessert.

Small but exquisite restaurant. Food is excellent, freshly prepared and tasty.Did enjoy the grill in the middle of the table to cook the meat according your taste.Prices may seem high, but in proportion to the quantity of the did being served, in my opinion, are ok.Not sure about the cost of the wine though, as for a 375ml I paid 18 euros.

One of the very best services I, personally, have so far enjoyed in Paris so far, the passion put into the management of this restaurant is remarkable. And so is the food! The octopus and chicken bibimbap are sheer perfection and, just when we thought it couldn't get any better, they killed us with the dessert (we chose the Traditional Korean dessert and the green tea cheesecake + sesame ice cream). N.b.: the sesame ice cream is a MUST try.We are definitely coming back soon!
