The restaurant is almost directly opposite the Yugawara rail station. It is on the upper floor. You can climb up the two flights of rather steep staircases or go into the shop beneath where there is an elevator leading to the upper floor. The place is rather small, with old style furnishings. It offers traditional Japanese dishes and the menu is extensive. My husband ordered the katsudon (fried pork +egg+ rice). I had a bowl of ramen with pork, egg and vegetables. We were also provided with some deserts, presumably those sold downstairs. The food is very tasty and rather unexpectedly delicious. The price is reasonable but the portion is large and fulfilling. Heartily recommended.

5. Kimi no Hamayaki
We are located at the Atami port. Owners are local fishermen. We serve live shells, fresh fishes such as catch of the day fishes, grill, fly, baked. We specialize seafoods.

We went to this little place in Atami by the port. We had fresh sashimi which was amazing, we also had the grilled combo and sake of course. It was all delicious. Excellent find!

A street food u must try when in atami! They are served hot and huge! Assorted Flavours and we tried all that came in the sticks! FYI- there's cheese and Tako! Each was filled with delicious filings! Very long queue so be patient!
